I think we all agree that the season hinges on banking wins and building momentum over the first half of the season. The back half is pretty brutal.

First 6:

CSU (Denver)
UMass (Foxboro)
Arizona State (Boulder)
Hawaii (Boulder)
Cal (Berkeley)
Oregon State (Boulder)

Predict CU's record at the halfway point in the season.

4-2, with the 4th win most likely coming against Cal, but one of the other 2 aren't out of the question. Then again losing to CSU isn't out of the question.

I'll stick with my prediction on the 2014 season poll/thread, 6 - 0. then we run into a tough stretch before beating Utah to end the regular season with a winning record.

3-3. I know the coaches and teams are new, but I can't shake the memory of our last trip to Berkeley. We really need to be at least 4-2 in that stretch though.

For perspective. ASU and Oregon St beat us by a combined 98-30 last year.
Not disputing the numbers, but it's important to remember that those two games represent the beginning and the end of the Connor Wood implosion. Connor seem to let the weather conditions affect him at OSU and the ASU game became a scrimmage as soon as we pulled the plug on him and started the Sefo era.

What does that matter? The real question is do you believe they are 1 point better than us this year?

Not in Boulder, I don't. Can't run the ball, lost a weapon at WR who did more for their offense than P-Rich did for ours, and their defense is average.

We'll win that game.

I think it's a game at home that we have a very good chance to beat them. My point with that post was that I don't believe the OSU score last year to be indicative of the level of both teams in 2014

I hope your right, but I'm not seeing it. Bowl team from a year ago, whipped us, and returning a senior QB. Maybe we can hope they have a letdown after playing at USC the week before.

4-2

that would be the absolute minimum for a good season IMO. anything less and we're suddenly discussing how we've gone backwards

7-0... I am going all in here. I am certain you get extra credit if you win your first 6 games.

Right?
