Usually I try to downplay it and be mature.

But I'm drunk and feel like being honest.

They annoy the **** out of me.

My main reason for never wanting to play them in anything ever again is that I want to deal with them about as often as I have to interact with DU fans.

That is all.
 
Yeah I just don't understand why they hate everything cu and especially everything boulder. I'm not ignorant enough to sit here and say foco sucks and I hate csu I actually think it is a cool town and a good university. I never root against them... I may not root for them but I would never watch a game and cheer against them. Their whole agenda is just to berate THE University of Colorado in any way possible and it just gets on my nerves. They think it is funny they call us ucb and talk about how bad we have been when they should be focusing on their own program.

BTW Nik I had a few drinks tonight also lol so this is a good time to vent
 
Nik a responsible person would have cut you off hours ago... god bless the fact their aren't any responsible people near you... also amen RE: CSU their fans are insufferable
 
Nik, I'm impressed you didn't slur your speech in your post. If you hadn't told us, I'd have never known you were drunk.

I'm good. I don't get wine hangovers since I avoid sweet wines. And I've had fun reading through what I wrote last night. Vague memories crystalizing into "oh yeah, I guess I did write that". :lol:
 
I know what you mean. I work with them, I have to be good because my company sponsors CSU. I even got to go to a meeting that Jim McElwain spoke.
 
Registering "DrunkNik.com" and loading up on booze. We should probably make it a subscription site. We're going to be so rich.
 
CSU doesn't have fans. Just a common group of people who hate CU because they didn't work hard enough in high school to get into a good university, that happen to root for CSU the week we play them.

I actually see a surprising amount of up to date CSU Ram decals on cars, but I bet you 90% of them couldn't tell you the name of their starting quarterback or name half of the teams in their conference. They are hardcore CSU fans two days of the year. The days that CSU plays Colorado in basketball and football.
 
I lived in Fort Collins for 3 years back in the 80's. My co-workers who had gone to CSU didn't even seem excited about their team.

It's always great to beat them--in any sport.
 
I used to not mind CSU at all when we were playing them back in the early 90's because their fans weren't asinine and understood their place in college football and it was kind of like a "meh" game. Then their fans turned into dickwads, Van Punk came long, and things got ugly. Plus it's completely the fault of CSU fans that they stopped selling beer to the common folks at Mile High.

Untrue. My neighbors daughter starts at CSU this fall and has perfect grades and is a great girl (she is our babysitter, which means...we have to find someone else now).

She is going to make a great vet!! Not a sports fan though.....lol
