Sooners playing Tulsa. In state game much like CU-CSU where Tulsa has everything to gain and nothing to lose but unlike our disaster they play it on campus and don't do it the first game of the season.

Also early on Arkansas State is ahead of Tennessee. What kind of heat does Tennessee feel if they would somehow lose that one .

Watching OU makes me sick. Good football. Fast players, well coached. I forgot what that looks like.

It's not going to happen but I'd love to see McNeese win. The nubs fans would have a meltdown that makes us look like amatuers.

Correct about Oklahoma. I always liked the Sooners, even when we shared a league with them. Unlike us they don't let Tulsa's excitement about playing them get in the way of them winning the way they should.

Big weekend for the PAC.

Stanford - USC will show a lot, also Oregon needs to beat Mich St. to insure further chances for the playoff spot they want.

Not sure USC-Stanford will tell us much. I think we pretty much know both teams are really good, but maybe not great.

Also think the game means more for Michigan State than Oregon because Oregon will have more chances for quality wins than Michigan State going forward.

Lose to Mich State and Oregon would have to win out to have any hope of the playoff, and that would still be a maybe. Beat them and stumble against a decent team and they are in the same situation, no guarantee but a shot.

You are right about Stanford-USC but both teams have some questions from guys they have added and lost. This game could tell a little about what direction each team is headed.

Oregon's schedule is very favorable down the stretch, so I just do not view today as do or die for them.

Central Michigan leads Purdue 21-9 close to the half. Central Michigan is not a good MAC team.

Also, in the ol' Big 8, Iowa State is putting some offense on K-State over on FS1. Just had a nice deep TD pass. The Mangino experiment may be helping them as the season goes on.

No longer a big name program after the death penalty but interesting to see SMU getting beat 23-0 by North Texas.

Very. I know they are inexperienced at QB but last week UNT looked like they had taken a step back from their bowl season. June Jones is wishing boosters hadn't protested his ASU hiring right about now.

Big 12 looks worse than last year.

Just speculation but as bad as the B12 looks, could OU go undefeated and still end up out of the playoff. Get an undefeated team from the B1G, the PAC, Free Shoes, and a one loss SEC team. If they count strength of schedule could be an argument.

If OU goes undefeated, I don't see them being left out.

So based on the scenario I laid out who gets left out? They aren't going to leave the SEC out and the others are undefeated in better conferences.

It's gonna be tough for anyone to go undefeated, much less four. My guess would be an ACC or B10 team that doesn't include FSU, Sparty, or Blowhio St. That's just a guess though.

Ohio state's got a good shot at losing tonight.

Entertaining game. Both quarterbacks will run the ball on designed draws, broken plays, zone reads. Would be nice to have a running qb at cu.

Damn good games on, ISU vs KSU is entertaining. Just really shows how good North Dakota is. That team whomped ISU.
