Dear CU Golden Buffalo Marching Band,

Please stop playing when the Buffs have the football. It's amateur hour --- stadium is supposed to be quiet when the Buffs have the ball, especially when they're running a no-huddle offense that requires verbal communication in the first 10-15 seconds of the play clock.

It makes you look like you don't understand the game of football, and it's amateur hour.

That being said, you sounded great last night. Keep it coming --- just not when we're on offense.

I'm sorry... have you ever been to a college football game before? When my team gets a first down, I damn well better hear Glory, Colorado.

I can see the op point. If it hurts our offense, they need to change it up.

FYI the marching band was doing their job last night. Well enough that Todd Graham complained to the refs at half time and the band got a warning for playing "too close to the snap"

The problem is that they play between downs a lot on offense and our offense shifts between quick, no huddle type to a slower no huddle then get set type of thing. Makes it hard for them. They are adjusting, but remember it was their second game this year.

I thought the band did a great job. This isn't Mile High with Manning; the band is a huge part of the pageantry that makes college football as great as it is.

Only complaint is they play while our QB is getting ready to snap the ball. They just need to tighten that up and stop earlier when we are on offense.

They are working on it. Like I said CU makes it tough. Our offense switches tempos often.

I noticed this as well. The band directors need to watch/listen to what the Oregon band does between plays. When they play, they are quick 5-10 second tunes then silence.
