We lost the game when Gillam was knocked out

Screw the officiating, as terrible as it was. The D looked competent with Gillam out there. When we got knocked in the had the guys imploded. I will said Daigh looked better towards the end.

We lost the game on Crawley's PI. Losing Gillam sucked, but the PI call was far bigger in the outcome IMO

Yeah, Daigh can make the tackle, but he doesn't get into the Gaps like Gillam. That being said Our secondary could have handled being 1on1 all night against Oregon St, and probably most teams in the PAC. I would love just blitz like heck and force them and everyone to pass against us. They ran the ball and ate the clock...

Yep. Calling a spade a spade. That killed us. I'm not much of a blame the refs guy (outside of Duke basketball) and who knows, maybe we still lose on a dumb play off the int. But I don't see any
way that phantom call can't be considered the killer. Directly resulted in it being a two possession game.

The Crawley bull**** PI was the biggest one play that lost it for us, but there was still a lot of time and game to be played.

The D was looking great before the injury. After Gillam left the defense couldn't prevent them from getting firsts down after first down after first down. I don't blame Daigh, since it is tough to come in and immediately be 'on' but he was out of place and they had no problem going after him
