4 things that lost the game today

1. Awful start. Failure to get a 3rd & 1 and a 4th & 1 in the 1st quarter. Caused the offense to get off to a slow start and resulted in us spotting OSU 14 points. Plus Sefo's awful decision on the INT.

2. Drops by receivers. Had to be over 5 in this one. I haven't looked at Sefo's stats, but whatever they were his completion percentage should have been about 15-20% above where it ended up.

3. Gillam getting knocked out on that targeting play kickoff. Cutback runs and pass plays to the TE killed us after that.

4. Officiating by the back judges. The PI call on KC that should have been an INT along with Spruce getting mauled all day. Brutal.

We don't suck any more, but we're not good yet. When that's the case, the margin for error is so damn small and these things are too damn much for the team to overcome. Team is 2-4 and I don't have to work hard to come up with **** like this that has turned 4 winnable games into 4 losses this year. So ****ing frustrating. Buffs are knocking on the door now and need to learn how to win.

One more significant thing....we are not creating turnovers.

How about NOT running out of bounds when we needed to stop the clock?

Might not of lost it for us, but sure prevented us from a chance to win.

Meh. It's not like we ran out of clock. I was actually fine with the RB seeing the defender try to force out of bounds and trying to make a play. It was the drop on the previous play that pissed me off.

For someone that may not have seen the game can you tell me what happened on the Gillam kickoff and KC pass interference plays?

No.....bitch. Go over to Rivals and read all the nimrods bull**** over there.

Gillam was playing kickoff coverage at the start of the 2nd half. Got blindsided in a helmet-to-helmet as a "defenseless player". OSU guy got booted for it. Gillam didn't return to the game.

Crawley was in deep coverage against an OSU WR on a deep ball. KC had inside leverage and a step on the OSU player. KC slowed up to position for the catch and then grabbed the INT. Back judge threw a flag from the other side of the field after the INT was made, turning a CU 1st down on our 31 into an OSU 1st down on our 34. OSU went on to score a TD.

The bitch for the Beavers just launched himself using his head at Gillam's head. Looked cheap to me, but I would hope it wasn't.

I think the RBs dropped more passes than the WR. And you are spot on...our margin for error is too small and we can't recover from bad calls. We are getting better!

What drops by the WR's are you thinking of other than Spruce's close calls? Maybe you are thinking of the RB's? The crawley call will be talked about for a long time. Tough call. Very tough

I mis-typed that. Started typing "receivers" and then shortened it. I meant players thrown the ball, not WRs specifically. Brain fart. I'll go back and edit the OP for accuracy.

Awesome analysis. Agreed 100%.

OSU should have been called for pass interference on 3rd and 6 on the last drive for CU. The defender was all over Spruce. Happened in front of Mike Mac who went ape **** after the ball wasn't caught. Coach went running after the officials after the game ended.

There is one thing that is the difference between winning and losing. It's the third damn quarter.

We are a ****hair away from being 4-2 and talking about which bowl we're going to. I don't know how much more I can take, but we'll find out.

It stole our last time out. 5th uear senior, time runnimg out and he decides to have a Dance Party 5 yards from the first down and the sideline.

I hate that 3rd & 1 is a passing down.

Run game did improve over the course of the game and we got some, but your point stands. If the Buffs need 1 yard in a key situation, I cringe when I see that a run play is called. It shouldn't be like that.

Wait what? 3rd and 7 is 3rd and long.

Intermediate in my book, but regardless Sefo treats 3rd and 3, and 3rd and 14 in the same exact way. Situational awareness is not getting much better.
