Official Buffs vs. UCLA Score Prediction Thread

Predicting it will be close, with the other team winning..... Punchers chance..... Etc....

Well, it ain't workin, and it sucks. We got well on UCLA after playing USC and getting smoked before (been a while). So....

Buffs 45- u c l a 34.

Cmon guys, keep your heads straight for 4 quarters. Unleash it.

If we can't get a pass rush against that OL we don't stand a chance. That OL blocks like ours.

CU in a close one, 31-30

So now we're not going to score points? Come on guys. We will score points just like we have all season.

42-39
To be honest I haven't seen the last two games and am just going off the scores. But when you go down 28 - 0 in the first quarter, it generally becomes easier to move the ball on a defense.

Ok then what about UMass, ASU, OSU, etc.? If you were going off the scores then I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion of only 10 points.

Our adjusted ppg is 29.2, 19 ppg below the average is a massive drop for a home game.

I'm a massive homer, so, I typically don't hate your posts. That said--why are you arguing with someone's score prediction? We'll see what happens Saturday. We may score 10 points, we may get shut out, we could score 50-- who the **** knows. Let it go. The cold never bothered me anyway (sorry, 2 year old is obsessed with frozen).

Seriously tini, you need to stop swooping in and calling out people when they aren't completely drunk (and delusional) on the kool-aid that you are drinking. It's okay to let others state their predicted score in this thread without throwing a tantrum. Feel free to call people out if you actually turn out to be right for once.

same old mantra - mistake, bad call, followed by mistake again, of course our 2 interceptions that we can count on lately followed by another pi call bad or not? guys are young and learning still how to play to win not lose.

BUFFS 35
bruins 48

man this **** is getting old!

Hate to do this and hope that UCLA lays one of their famous eggs and loses to us but

42-31 bad guys.

UCLA is another one of those teams that has so much speed that we can do everything right and they still run past us enough to win.

The hope is that we have all seen UCLA not show up for road games in the past, especially against teams they should beat easily. My heart hopes for one of those but my head says it's not going to happen this week.

UCLA is 3-0 on the road, just not liking this match up. Their defense is pretty good when they show up to play. Hundley is more dangerous when takes off and runs instead of stubbornly staying in pocket. If Sefo doesn't throw any picks maybe we can keep it close. Bruins 45-31

Special teams show up as an opportunity for the first time in a long time, Hundley running gives us fits, we hang for a while...

UCLA: 49
CU: 31

UCLA: 56
CU: 21

These kids are having a tough time getting the message that they need to play harder and more focused than their opponents to have a chance. Prove me wrong Buffs. Please prove me wrong.

No idea how this one turns out. Homecoming has been magic for the buffs before. Bruins are inconsistent to say the least. UCLA probably wins. Too much talent everywhere. Going to take a special performance from the D to contain Hundley.

UCLA 59 CU 20. There are a few teams in the PAC-12 that have athleticism we can't match and can't make up for through coaching or effort. UCLA is one of them. If we manage to stay close through the first quarter, the final score will be much closer. A couple big UCLA plays early and it will be USC part two.

I also didn't realize it was a home game. I'll give us another 7 points because of that and drop their total by 7.

Still a blowout loss.

UCLA was overrated, and they have nothing to play for now really. It's at Folsom and is homecoming for us. IF the team comes out fired up and not dispirited after the egg they laid Saturday, this game has upset written all over it.

A prediction made more with heart than brain...

Buffs 37
UCLA 36

CU beats UCLA in the final 3 quarters 24-17

Unfortunately UCLA will be up 17-0 at the end of the first.
