This hurts

First home game since I moved back. Ucla gave us that game. Hundley is not good. Their OL was bad.

That said the most disappointing OT game I can remember was out loss to Baylor where Bjax threw an interception. I remember everyone lingering around for a while sitting in disbelief.

I feel bad for the players and coaches. To keep coming so close without the pay off has to be crushing.

If we lose another double ot game this year....

If we do, it will be heartbreaking, but seriously ... seriously ... it will be a sign that we are much improved. It would be so nice if one of these close ones fell our way. It would be even nicer to see a game that wasn't close, and the buffs dominated, but that's a ways down the road.

Then we will have defied all odds. ****, should be 5-4/6-3 right now. Finish needs to be the key for next year, like Uncommon and Care were the previous years.

You remind of this joke:

Two statisticians go bow hunting. They find a big buck grazing in a meadow and the first statistician shoots, his arrow falling 10 yards short. Amazingly, the deer doesn't spook so he takes a second shot that flies 10 yards long. The second statistician yells, "We got him!"

That dumbass uses stats like a staggering drunk uses a lamp post; more for support than illumination.

I thought you had me on ignore and were done with me? Sorry for using math  (actually don't know the odds and haven' spent anytime looking them up for that post)

Couple weeks back it took two over times for a bad team to beat us. This week it took two over times for the number 25 team to beat us. Pain is weakness leaving the body

I'm drunk now but this neighborhood of mine is in for a rough night.

GO BUFFS!

We're losing to better teams now than we were two weeks ago! That's tangible improvement you can sell to recruits!!! :)!

This is turning into one of those seasons like 2006 where you feel like we're just so close but don't get it done. The roster is not stacked with exceptional talent but we have the playmakers to keep us in games when healthy and a few different play calls and fewer turnovers and we would've gotten over the hump for a couple more wins. Still getting thumped by the legitimate teams but the ones who are middle of the Pac we are at least going toe to toe with. The brain says this looks encouraging but the heart isn't comforted any more because we're still losing.

Worst part of the loss is that this could have been a huge benefit for recruiting California. There was a lot more riding on this game in OT than keeping the team buying in. Somebody needs to be a leader.

This was funnier the first time you used it on him.

Fair point. I should have tried new material.

'Tini is the kind of guy who would argue the average human has one breast and one testicle.

Well actually it is slightly less than 1 testicles due to Lance Armstrong, and slightly more than 1 breast due to trannies.

It was such a good quote, you should have known we would remember.

I now know what Tim Tebow's opponents felt like in the 2011-12 season. I knew this was going to catch up to me at some point.
