Now he's accused of point shaving...

In what has been an already difficult season for the Seminoles, with it's star player/starting QB Jameis Winston having his character questioned almost weekly, the crab legs and the "rape" controversy in the summer and the game suspension for yelling obscene words ... Things seemed to quiet down this past week, after that great comeback in 2nd half vs Louisville (keyword: 2ND HALF) as Jameis was brilliant and kept Florida St undefeated this year.

And now this is where the story gets kind of murky for the "Superstar" QB ... For a few days, IBN has been in contact with a bookmaker, based in Alabama, who gave us some intriguing information concerning Winston's former high school teammate Chris Rabb (close friend of Jameis) and some "Alleged" underhanded actions. And here is what he had for us :

Follow the money

1) Sign lots of autographs
2) "Invest" in sporting events
3) Cheat
4) Profit

Biggest problem is that he's not just doing things that the NCAA would frown upon. He's doing things that would drag down the reputation of a professional league as well, and that's going to hurt his draft stock when we keep seeing smoke like this.

Reads article

written by Incompetent Bob. Yeah not buying this one coming from that hack.

This is such a damaging accusation to make about someone that I don't even want to comment on it unless there's a reputable, corroborating publication on it.

My thought exactly. It's one thing saying he took money for some autographs. It's another to be part of a point shaving scheme. I highly, highly doubt this, but with this guy, you would never know. His professional career would be over because of this, if true.

I don't know, according to his bio he nailed the Melo to the Knicks trade. Unless you were listening to Melo's wife talking daily about being in NYC to advance her career, the rumors from the Knicks front office, and the fact that he played college in NY and was on records talking about how much he loved playing in the Garden, that was a really difficult call to make.

I'd consider the guy who goes to colleges and screams at everyone about religion to be a better source than that site.

Seriously? Posting a link from Incarcerated Bob Network and placing any credence to it is just foolish. This website has been thoroughly debunked.

It's getting to the point where it might not matter whether it's true or not. This dude is cutting his own dick and balls off.

I agree with hesitating until there is more reliable information. This is the kind of thing that can end careers and put someone in jail if true.

Problem for Jameis is that he has enough of a track record that you can bet the NFL isn't going to wait for confirmation, they are going to go looking for it.

Two other problems for him.

One is that the NFL considers things like point shaving as attacking the integrity of the game. They know that a big part of the popularity of the game is based on gambling and while they would never admit it they don't want to risk that audience in any way.

Second is that historically the NFL hasn't cared a lot about what guys do to other people off the field as long as they can play but with the combination of the Ray Rice incident, the AP incident, the other domestic violence issues, and even the Aaron Hernandez issues they are suddenly worried about the reputation of the league in the eyes of the women fans and those who do care about domestic and other violence off the field.

Despite the fact that he got off on the rape charges the cummulative effect of all this has to make the league wonder if he is a ticking time bomb. Would they like to find an issue that would allow them to avoid employing him and avoid the innevitable train wreck that he presents in his personal life. No better reason/excuse to exclude a guy than gambling involvement.

what? Think you are like 3 months behind.

Just another punk future millionaire that will do absolutely nothing in the NFL except cause a distraction to whatever team drafts him

Natural football abilities not in question. I said it about Johnny Manziel as well. You cannot risk this type of money on a clown. He might change, but in most cases, getting paid 10's of Millions of dollars doesn't help that change.

This has Jemarcus Winston written all over it. Run!

I think Winston signed up with the same trainer Tom Brady used before the draft.
