Pac-12 football: Grading the coaches

Some posters are not going to like what he says about the talent level.

Yeah, I thot it was fair. Didn't realize the Pirate had been at Wazzu for 3 years, and frankly I'm surprised he hasn't done at least a little better. The bowl appearance last year is starting to look out of place.

It becomes very apparent once we get past our starters due to injuries.
Yep. You can buy injuries decimating us at safety, but talking about injuries like Henington or Adkins throwing our season out of whack is a reach.

considering our depth at D-line, I would say Henington could have at least helped out in the CSU debacle. Hindsight being 20/20

I wasn't trolling. I think his comment speaks volumes though. The talent continues to be a big issue for us.

I think it's a great position for recruiting now. Amazing facilities ready for next year, coaching praised by peers & media, competitiveness dramatically improving... just need a few more game changing players to get over that hump. The staff should be able to sell that. CU is no longer a bottomless pit where you'll lose for your 4/5 years. It's a program on the rise with a history that proves it can achieve #1.

I was also thinking Addison. Had to play him because we had no one else.
