I felt it deserved a thread of its own to say thank you to Taylor Simpson and our buffs volleyball team. Taylor came here and has helped transform our volleyball team into a contender. It was so exciting seeing the comeback today. We fell short and it was heart breaking but it makes me so proud to be a buff and I think this will lay the foundation for great things.

I wish we could have sent Taylor to the sweet 16. But we still made such a great run in the Pac.

And in reality, you have to feel sorry for csu. May sound odd to say that after they won. To not really. Sure, they get good crowds. Sure they won a lot- but against who????

As an avid follower of the buffs, we saw ranked teams match after match. Our players competed against the best. And they did us proud. CSU really will just remain in the mountain west second tier, afraid to play with the best. I wouldn't trade even one of our players for theirs. Nicole Edleman- great setter. Pfefferle- awesome upcoming player. Gabby and Cierra- no comment needed- just awesome. Cuff- love when she scores from the middle! Each and everyone of our players stepped it up. Proud of each one, Great role models for all of our daughters!!

When it comes down to it, the CU players have the courage and heart to play and compete against the best. csu to me looked overrated today. Had we played on a neutral floor or in boulder, we would have won for sure.

So proud of our team. Next year will be tough to replace Taylor, Neira, Kelsey and Rachel. But I hope they remain buffs forever and get credit in the future for turning this around.

And i I hope coach Kritza leads us to many more great seasons. She deserves so much praise for what she has done. Let's begin to fill the CEC for this team. Get the -Unit there too.

Sorry to to create a separate thread for this. But can't let the season end without giving a shout out. This team earned it. Thank you, Taylor Simpson, for being the spark and leader that made Cj volleyball fun, competitive and a contender.

I agree that if the match had been played on a neutral court or in Boulder, we probably would have one. I'd like to do a 3 matches out of 5 and I think we could win. This is CSU's toughest victory of the season because they do play in a weak conference. I don't know who they played outside of the conference, but their conference isn't any where near as tough as the Pac 12. No conference is in volleyball.

Yeah I think CSU would have finished middle of the pack in the Pac12 and would not be ranked in the top 10. They are good though and made just a couple mistakes less than we did last night. The crowd was a huge advantage for them. It certainly made a difference in the match.

I did not care for the "trader" chants by their students when Gabby was serving but kids will be kids.

I would like to play CSU every year in the Non-Con. Would be fun!

But to the main point of this thread, THANK YOU SENIORS!!! You won't be forgotten and we will always be grateful for your part in the turn around of our program!!!

I think CSU would have been 7th or 8th in the Pac 12.

They may call Gabby a traitor, but reality is who would choose to play in the weak MWC when you could play in the Pac 12 with 12 quality teams that each could be ranked. CSU may win their conference championship but is anyone really paying attention? I think their players are too afraid of competition to take on the challenge that our players accepted. Competing in the pac 12 requires a real commitment and courage!

I cant wait to see Gabby Simpson in the future as a buff. Traitor? No way. 100% Pac 12 proven competitor? hell yes!!

Gabby Simpson- during the rest of your time at CU, I hope you get another shot at CSU.

I am hoping CU and CSU will renew their series. My friend with the daughter-in-law on the CSU coaching staff said she had never seen CSU have to work that hard to get a win. Says a lot about their regular competition and the Buffs faced this every match in the Pac 12.
