Tipoff: 7pm Wednesday 12/10
TV: Pac-12 Networks
Radio 850 KOA

Not trying to steal anyone's thunder by starting this early, but there is some necessary info our there about this one.

First, the game is at 7pm, on a school night so traffic will be heavier than normal. CU is asking fans to show up early and have patience with school traffic. Club room and parking lots open at 5pm. Arena opens at 6pm. The AD is also offering free shuttles, from East Campus to the 28th St Frontage road tunnel just east of the event center, for those that don't want to deal with the campus traffic.

Second, C-Unit/AD has decided this is a black out game. The AD is distributing 10,000 black shirts for the game, so if for some reason you don't own something black, you will be set.

Finally, this is a rivalry game. I understand and agree with the people that do not like CSU as a football rival, but the basketball rivalry is good for CU, CSU, and the Region. Find a way to be at the game. If you can't be there find a way to get people in your seats. Buffs have looked sleepy and dragged through the past 4 games. Time to wake them up at the CEC.

I will try and update the OP with info as it becomes available to season ticket holders.

Go Buffs.

Understandable. I think he learned his lesson. Lets hope he drops 25 on them tonight, then runs his mouth before the game next year and goes burks on them for 35/15/10

Eustachy will certainly devise a good gameplan and CSU will come ready to prove themselves. I think we pull it off, but I don't expect a walk in the park. Glad this is at home. Someone outside of our "big 3" please score and please don't let some little squirt I've never heard of hit 5 threes.

I think we'll lose.

Wouldn't shock me. CSU is nothing great (delve into who they've played and 8-0 makes sense) but neither are we. Hope to see it come together for us, but CSU weathered our early onslaught pretty well last time at the Keg IIRC.

I haven't researched much, but, at a glance, I'd say CSU is "due for a loss"

Not even sure how you can say that given our history at home in the out of conference.
I hear what you're saying. I just think we have looked like crap for large portions of the season this year, even at the keg. I hope I'm wrong, but the buffs just haven't done much to inspire much confidence in me this year.

Outside of the 2nd half of Auburn, we have yet to have a dominant performance this year.

Well, we are SOOOO much better at home compared to the road, and our guys really feed off the energy of the crowd (look at the Auburn game).

We have a big size advantage, and if we can get Avila in foul trouble early, I don't see them keeping up.

Get back to me after the game. Seems people like you seem to love to **** on my predictions but have nothing to say after when I was right. So are you going to show your face and give me credit after or are you going to continue to be like others and only run your mouth at me before the fact?

What prediction of yours did I ever "****" on? You are doing exactly that to other posters. All the time.

Still don't understand this thinking at home. Recognize the differnece between us at home and on the road.
it bothers me that we have this mentality... i dont give a **** if its home or road... this team needs to play a hell of a lot more consistently HOME AND AWAY and for a full 40 minutes before i buy back in on this season

First true road game (played a handful of neutrals in Alaska) and first game against a power conference opponent.

CSU beat UTEP, who beat Princeton and Xavier and lost to UW by 3. They also beat UCSB, who hung tight with Kansas and SMU (who nearly won the NIT last year).

So it's not like CSU hasn't beat anybody.

I'm nervous. This feels like a must-win. We've regressed on both ends of the floor from last year, and we were awful in the half court offense last year. I think we all expected at least some offensive improvement and combined with TadBall hard-nosed defense, we'd take a step forward ... but it hasn't happened. There's zero difference from last year to now in the half court.

And I'm sorry to say it, but our sophomore class is a total whiff so far. Not a single offensive threat among those 4. Nobody who can consistently create. Huge concern.

Completely agree! Jaron used to show some flashes last year that he could turn into something great but nothing out of this year thus far. I feel like we heard a bunch about how his game on offense improved this past offseason as well.

Really....really need this win for our confidence going forward. I do feel like the keg will be rocking tomorrow night which seems to be the only fire these kids have to get them motivated.

Given the fact that this team cant close games after running up huge leads (afa, lipscomb) I think this will be a very close one. I lean CU because of home court.

As for the soph class, I feel like fletch would be pretty good had he not got hurt last year in seattle. I also think wes will come around, I just dont know when. He's too good not to, but I think he's a bit gun shy with the ball on offense.

Fan mentality and player mentality are completely different. What's our win% at home under tad not in conference play? There is no reason for fans to not be confident about every home game OOC.

I think you put too much default stock in home court. No fan has ever made a jump shot. The building doesn't play defense. Talent and coaching being equal, or fairly close, then yes, the Keg makes a big difference. But from what I see so far this year, we're slipping, talent wise and Tad's half-court offense deficiencies are glaring. In the Tad era, we've been good at home because our talent matched up well and we had a true leader (or leaders) on the floor to turn to, especially on offense. If a team packs it in down low and eliminates Scott, who do we have any real confidence in?

i trust tad, i dont trust the players right now...
