I think that Reinkensmeyer will end up being heavily recruited and shoot up the rankings. He's got the body type and athleticism you want in a LT and Valor does a great job of promoting its players. Kid to keep an eye on this year.

"I'm looking at attending camps for schools that have been talking to me," Reinkensmeyer said. "We'll probably head to Colorado State and Colorado, and also go up to some Pac-12 and Big Ten schools. I'd like to visit Washington, Oregon and Utah."

Also from the article is the he started wrestling to improve his footwork for football. His first year wrestling this year, Dillon finished 6th in Regionals.

Picked up offers from Air Force, Utah State and Bucknell.

So academic issues?

CU is going to have to be selective this year with a limited number of openings but if he can show himself to be a P5 level prospect then I like the AFA offer. Usually means that a kid has the academic discipline to handle school and athletics. They also put a premium on leadership potential.

Want west Arvada to grow some decent restaurants. Sick of all the chains and franchises
No kidding! My wife and I were discussing that very issue the other day. It looks like another night at Señor Sol's tonight.

Mike London is a dead man walking at UVA. He's a Hawkins in year 5 and the schedule isn't kind. Wouldn't lose much sleep over it.

He was actually a Hawkins in year 5 last year, can't believe he wasn't fired.

London has a lot of friends in high places. The common fans turned on him a long time ago. The inevitable 4-8 or 5-7 will finally be the end.

I am sure the coaches will offer on the spot if he performs well at our camp. If not, so be it.

Gotta think, we get this kid and Roberts. Keeping the metro Denver kids home is huge. Both have other P5 offers and loads of potential.

I agree his offers will increase with his added weight since it looks like he's gained 15-20 lbs since the season ended.

Wrestling is beneficial for one key thing, leverage. Definitely other benefits like staying on your toes/footwork to an OL but the learning of leverage is huge. I played DL at 5'-8" and between 160 and 185 over my 3 years at 5A level. Only reason I didn't get killed was my strength and decade long understanding of leveraging the body to gain an advantage. I am not sure Dillon wrestles with a scholarship on the line but he's got that athletic HVY body that could go from 6th in Regionals to Top 6 in-state.

Did another comparison of two guys with one having an offer and the other not. Both OTs. Both from CO. Dillon is a very athletic tackle whom often has his pad level, great use of arms and main thing that stood out is athleticism and ability to get to next level. Chip blocking is key in college. He needs to gain weight but has the same frame a lot of versatile LTs that were successful at CU had. He is a better option for this system but wish the other kid well too.

He took a second visit to UVa with his mom and Virginia's 247 expects him to commit this week, FWIW.

Virginia could very well add another commitment this week. It would almost come as a surprise if they didn’t.

On Tuesday, Mike London and the UVa staff will host Virginia 2016 Littleton (Co.) Valor offensive tackle Dillon Reinkensmeyer. The visit is expected to conclude on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder is a player that UVa is high on and has offered. The two-star tackle holds offers from Air Force, Colorado, Colorado State, Navy, UNLV, and Wyoming among others.

Reinkensmeyer flew from Colorado to UVa two weeks ago for an unofficial visit.

This time he’s returning with his mother, who would like to see the school and meet with the coaches.

Too late to the party. It was bad when he hinted At a June decision right after he was offered, he already had an idea where he wanted to go.
