Can we add a poll to vote on One bracket vs. Multiple brackets?

I am a one bracket guy and it bothers me way more than it probably should when people fill out multiple brackets and then brag about "calling that upset". Yeah, you filled out 8 brackets, a**hole!

Worth of new thread.

Usually, I'm a one bracket guy, but this year I did two in my work pool. In a year in which Kentucky is EVEN ODDS :wow: to win the tourney, the vast majority of all brackets are going to choose them. Unless you're legitimately good at picking the early round winners, your chances of winning a large pool are slim, unless you go with a non-Kentucky NC and get it right. So I went with UK in one and Wisco in the other.

But that is what makes it fun for me. Plus you have to be better or luckier at picking the upsets in the early rounds or picking the final score tie breaker.

Again, hey multiple bracket guy: **** you.

No one gives a **** you finally did moderately well on your 11th bracket

I am in two pools, one here at no cost and the other is $100 buy in. One bracket per pool and I actually have almost identical brackets in both. Always shot to win and my picks are my picks. You fill out a bunch and play a bunch of options in different brackets, what do you really prove. My 5 bracket was a winner! Not really.

In the past I've been a one bracket guy. The last few years I've had multiple. I've found that multiple brackets gives me rooting interest longer than if I had one bracket that possibly got screwed in the first 2 days.

That said, it sucks filling out multiple brackets. All the decisions you made in the 1st bracket now have to be changed a bit to spread the risk. I get much less excited about each additional bracket I fill out because I'm going against all my initial ideas and feelings.

And a lot of it came from just not saying no to people asking me. I have an office bracket pool, I got a relative asking about one that involves a fundraiser, I got college friends needing people to join to make the jackpot worth it.

So, I used to care about sticking to the one bracket, now I don't. It's still fun.

2. The first is what I really think is gonna happen. The second is an "upset special", which usually comes in dead last (and I could give a rats ass).

My normal one has GaSt but also had EWash who I thought would pull an upset. I also banked on an E8 appearance by the clowns from Ames. Oooops.

It was a fun first day, tho.
