I'll update the roster in the FB Recruiting forum.

Is he staying at CU or transferring elsewhere?

Going to finish his 2 remaining semesters and then plans to look into getting a Master's according to what he posted. All reports is that he's a great young man who will likely do well in life. Just didn't have a passion for football any more.

That would make him an early grad which means he has already be focusing on academics. Great for him.

Also if he has lost his passion for football you have to respect him for not trying to just hang around and use it to get school paid for. Shows some real integrity.

Best of luck to him and you are right, his future is probably very bright.

This is tough news for fans because he was always expected to contribute as a pass rusher which we've needed for years. Just never healthy enough to see the field. I am happy to hear that he has maintained focus in the classroom and not let being hurt become an excuse for falling behind in any other area. Thanks Markeis!

Got passed up for whatever reason, so good attrition. No matter what, he's a buff. Good luck to him

To focus on academics? Are you kidding me? Good for him.

He was the first commitment in the 2013 class after Mike MacIntyre and his staff were hired (he committed on Jan. 7... Good Luck!

Rep to Duff for cryptically referring to this in another thread..

His injuries put him far behind the curve and the infusion of new talent did even more to bury him on the depth chart. Glad to see he took advantage of the scholarship. My guess is he takes a justified "medically unable to perform" route and continues to receive aid through graduation.

Best of luck to him, he always appeared to have a good attitude and supported the team and his teammates, despite his personal setbacks.
