Top CO recruits, who goes where?

Here's what I see as the top 5 CO talent this year in my order and the school they choose. Could it be possible that CU doesn't sign a single recruit from Colorado this year? Wonder if that's ever happened before. Outside of the top 5, I don't think there's anyone else that is really a PAC12 type recruit.

1. Kemp - UCLA or Michigan
2. Domann - Nebraska
3. Stoll - Texas
4. Lynch - UCLA
5. Roberts - ASU (unless CU offers soon)

If we don't land ANYONE in "your" top 5, I'm hoping we at least we keep,[h=1]DILLON REINKENSMEYER[/h]

maybe pannunzio

I'm not sure whether we should hope to keep Dillon, Reinkensmeyer or Pannunzio. None of them have any BCS offers and in a previous post everyone was pretty much in agreement that we need to be getting players wtih multiple BCS offers.

Somewhere, we will find a 6'7 240 linemen prospect with zero offers but all the potential to be the next Solder.

1. Kemp - Michigan, he's still giving us some hope in recent interviews (although he repeatedly includes CSU with us). Respectable young man at least, wish him the best, hopefully he goes to Michigan so we only have to beat him once.
2. Domann - Nebraska, convinced this kid has something against CU. No respect for his first offer.
3. Stoll - Colorado or Texas, made his top 3 and if we can have a good season I like our chances.
4. Roberts - He didn't commit right away to ASU, who knows maybe he takes his time and doesn't get offended by a late offer by us.

I also think we get Pannunzio and offer 1 more guy who has a big Senior year.

Stoll would be sweet! Whose the other school in his top 3?

I would say Nebraska is a bigger threat for Stoll, not Texas.

Eh, you're probably right. I didn't fully read into his quotes for them but "I have a pretty good feeling they'll make my top five in June." isn't quite as much praise as "Everything about Nebraska really excites me." I also thought he was waiting until the season before committing but I guess that was wrong too..

I think we get Stoll in the end. Would be a nice recruiting win for the coaches.

Hard to find TEs. He's more important than the others (besides Kemp) because a well thought of 3* talent is not so hard to find at other positions. Kemp's a special player. By virtue of his position, I'd say that Stoll is too. Beyond that, I like some of the others but it's easier to find an equivalent guy from out-of-state. All things being equal, I want to see CO guys signed to the Buffs but not signing in-state preps isn't always significant in terms of the team's talent level. This year, in fact, my biggest concern is that there will be some major reaches within a small class out of a desire to at least sign 2 or 3 CO guys.

Yep. We need to fill some big time needs (WR, TE, secondary, etc.) In this class. Only so many "projects" to be taken.

Domann seemed pretty pumped when we offered him at first and then we haven't heard anything since. Sucks too cause he is a great player at a position of need, in state and we were his first offer.

I guess I'm still really bothered by his "KSU was the first school I really liked that offered me" comment. He mentioned us not too long ago about how we had told him we could use him both ways but no praise was really added to the comment. And I've only heard of Kemp taking an unofficial visit but never Domann, which you'd think/hope an instate kid would take advantage of that sort of thing.

Yeah I agree. He had updates about how excited he was to get up to Boulder cause he thought they were going to offer on his visit and then they did and he said it was great but after the other schools offered he pushed cu to the side it seems. Bummer for sure because you can tell the coaches really want him.

Yeah, definitely don't want to reach on anyone outside the top 5, but I also think it would be historical to not sign one instate kid at all. In fact, I wonder if it's ever been done by any state school?

Doubt we offer Roberts without a good deal academic improvement. Have a shot at Stoll. The others are gone. Of you're going to have a down year in state, 2016 is looking to be it. And with such a small class, it works out.
2017 is looking stacked and CU has been all over them early. Need to get a handful from that class for sure.

A failure? That is a reach. He missed on one player they offered last year. Obviously this year is not looking good but I don't think it is a failure.
That's a little disingenuous, 2 (Lee and the Anderderson) of the top 5 were never offered because they never wanted to go to CU, not that CU didn't want them.

So you know CU didn't offer Anderson because he would have never gone to CU? That makes no sense since Lee got an offer.

CU definitely wanted Lee (first offer he got) but never offered Anderson.

Lynott is basically the only player MM has landed in-state that P5 programs wanted. More like a baby blanket

Kemp-UCLA and not because of Lynch. A lifer in Boulder wants to be gone.
Domann-KSU. Dad is a sports agent, so he will go where they pay under the table best. If SEC calls, he will go there.
Stoll-Texas or Wisconsin if they offer with a shot for CU
Lynch-UCLA, but I don't care. He's over rated and we will get a better QB.
Roberts-CU after they offer post CU camp, otherwise somewhere in the Pac 12 so people can bitch and complain

This year has these 5 with 4 having legit BCS talent.
