Was apparently going to be their starter.

Bryce Dixon, USC’s projected starter at tight end, is no longer enrolled at the school, the program announced Thursday.Dixon, a sophomore, missed all of spring practice due to what was termed a “student-conduct issue.” Per TrojanSports.com, head coach Steve Sarkisian repeatedly declined to comment on Dixon’s situation throughout the spring. Dixon was also suspended for the Cal game last season, but returned the following week against UCLA.

hmmm. Seems like a head case. But that is also what happens to me when I look at our TE depth chart...

I would say Mac is in a position to take a couple risks in recruiting considering how things have gone in that area.

I would hope we at least make the phone call to find out more.

Update: After reading SD's post, if true, no thanks.

Rumors are sexual assault. But a credible he said, she said. SC fans believe he's getting screwed, wealthy white girl shame. Could her ugly.

Personally, I have reached a point where it does not matter anymore...Bring em' in and lets start winning. If and when these kids turn out to be headcases or trouble?, deal with it then. We have got to start seeing W's. Everything else is out the window at this point.

Academic risks might be one thing, bringing a possible sex offender on campus is another. I'll pass.

I'm sick of this program being a joke as well and I'm all for the staff taking some risks. But there are some things that are more important than football, the safety of other students being one of them.

I haven't reached that point.

If it's a failed marijuana test or a fight or petty theft, I'm willing to see the Buffs take a risk on a guy (assuming they do their due diligence). But when we're talking about things like sexual assault or felony offenses, I'll pass. I actually live in this community.

What about attacking someone in a Wendy's drive-thru?
