BOULDER — As I toured what will be the University of Colorado football team's new headquarters, with its state-of-the-art locker room and touch-screen televisions and underwater treadmills, it made me wonder: How did CU ever get recruits before all this?

The Buffs haven't had a facility overhaul since 1991, which was, of course, the year after they won the national championship.

Now in 2015, they're not just keeping up with the Joneses — they're keeping up with the Jetsons.

Great article. Let's give Hochman some page views for this. Positive comments would be nice, too.

Definitely a change of tone. It's nice seeing excitement from a local writer.

Gonna be so badass.

so everyone should click and read the article. Show the Post that if they write good articles, they get traffic.

Like a 5* recruit gives a flying **** if the practice facility is self sustaining.

Hochman did a good job. He's actually very good at what he does.
I like Hochman a lot. He's on 105.5 during the "drive home." Really funny guy. I think he does stand up as well.

I honestly  at some of you guys finding things to bitch about.

You really don't see how that could at least leave a positive impression?

It could leave a positive impression. More likely than not, it's information that goes in one ear and out the other. The recruit wants to know about things that impact him directly. The fact that it's a self-sustaining facility is of no relevance to him. It's OK to mention it to the recruit, but I would be careful about using it as a selling point. It's not.
