2015 Media Guide Depth Chart

It is out of date

Released today, likely not updated today. They usually hand one out at the first day of fall camp, I'm assuming that one will be more updated than this one. Complete with freshman etc etc.

So keep an eye out for that on August 5th.

I'm not putting a whole lot of stock in this one or really any of them. We all know who needs to play at least offensively maybe a freshman or 2 step up but you know HCMM wants to redshirt as many as he can. Depth behind Spruce isn't scary because he has to be on the field every play to at least keep the defense somewhat honest. Defensively we know some of the guys who will play but we don't know the exact scheme and none of the guys have played for Levitt. Hopefully he will work more match ups and put guys in position to use their strengths. I did like some of the changes in depth and am excited to see who breaks out

Dang it, where is that season win total prediction thread?? I needed to change something.

Man, I was more excited about Carr and Baltazar, but I might have to reconsider that in light of our recruit named Dino Gordan.

Haha. My kid's gonna love the name change. Guess he wants to be called Dino instead of Donald now.

These preseason depth charts mean next to nothing other than to advertise how many players aren't getting to practice due to injury which as Buff fan is something to fully expect every year. Will be much more interesting to see how the defensive front seven look when they line up for the first scrimmage. Should look different from this 4-3 base the chart is showing. My concern is how undersized some of these D-linemen are.

What's the prognosis on Bobo and Walker's injuries? When are they expected back (and at 100%)?

All of the starters are the same as the Spring "Pencil" depth chart from March, with the exceptions of the loss of Josh Tupou and holder Ty Gangi, who transferred to Ventura College to try his hand at winning the starting QB position.
