Adam made a number of comparisons to Donovan Lee. Another guy who could be a DB or play slot WR and also help on special teams. Would almost certainly have a lengthy offer list if he was a couple inches taller. I'm hoping that CU can parlay the early offer and significant interest into securing a commitment soon. I'm afraid he's going to blow up during the camp circuit this summer.

Think he's our next commit, need JL, HCMM, and the facilities to seal the deal.

Will be interesting whether he gets some P5 offers at any camps this summer and, if he does, how that affects our chances.

Bryant mentioned among "Best of the Rest" as an honorable mention top performer at the Rivals LA Camp in May. https://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1765766

Recruiting wrap: Colorado, Nevada, San Jose State and Utah State have offered so far.

Performance: Bryant does not have tremendous size but he's smart and out-thinks receivers and quarterbacks. He has a knack for stepping in front of passes and reading what the receiver is going to do, so he can break on the ball and knock passes down. Bryant is not super physical, but he's crafty, and that's why he's so good. - See more at: https://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1765766#sthash.X3NXRRkJ.dpuf

Guy who originally predicted him to us on the Crystal Ball flipped it immediately to UW and listed his interest as Warmer for Washington while ours at cool.

Dubbed "Best Feet" at Adidas 7v7 camp

A lot of the praise goes to teammate Long -- and for good reason -- but Bryant continued to prove why he shouldn't be overlooked in the Loyola defense. Washington offered last week and Bryant followed that accomplishment with a great showing Sunday. He was light on his feet and, on perhaps the highlight of pool play, jumped a route to make a sprawling interception on a throw to the sideline. - See more at: https://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1777308#sthash.qGOAU4tW.dpuf

Looks like we got through the Washington UV and are still strongly in this fight.

So with how well the visit went, did Bryant come close to making a decision?

"Not really," Bryant said. "It was a great visit, but I want to still check out some other schools and see what they have to offer.

"There might be a better fit out there for me and I want to visit at least Colorado before the start of my season and then I'd like to take at least a couple of my official visits and make my decision during my season.

Actually surprised, thought he'd lose interest when he got a better offer but I think the staff has done a pretty good job selling to him. And the "there might be a better fit" may suggest he's hoping for a better fit.

Still strange he didn't visit with Riordan though.

Washington isn't a 'better offer'. We pass them within two seasons.

Well the fact you think that doesn't really matter, I mean I personally don't disagree but that's not how recruits are seeing it. They've recruited far better than us and aren't on a 9 straight losing season streak, therefore it's a better offer. I don't think they'll be very good this year and I don't think Petersen's as great as people make him out to be, but I don't know how you can seriously think recruits don't hold UW in much higher regard right now. Hopefully he sees it your way or at least buys into what the coaches are selling but right now we're at a disadvantage to a UW offer whether you like it or not.

Just goes to show how easy it is to change perception. Better recently? Sure. Not a high bar to beat. But I'd expect to compete with Washington in recruiting. They're a couple years ahead of us in the facilities race, but count me one who isn't sold on Petersen getting it done in the PAC.

Sounds like it's coming down to CU or UDub.

Myles Bryant could have one more unofficial visit planned and then the three-star defensive back should be ready to make his decision - or at least be much closer to it.

"I'm trying to go on an unofficial visit to Colorado sometime in this week or next week," Bryant said.

"I believe I'm going to make my decision before the season so within a month or so."
