Gillam Good To Go, Other Pac-12 Media Day Notes

Gillam being at 225 and Olugbode being at 220 is huge

Olugbode having a year's experience and both of them playing for a real LB coach, is huger!

Always fun to see his family at the games, everyone with their Olugbode jerseys on.

Big fast LB's, are exactly what we need.

Also nice 1st piece from Neill.

Didn't Adam just say that Gillam hasn't been around much this summer and hadn't gained the weight back yet?

the key to the D this year is Bear staying healthy....I think he has had 4 reported concussions during his CU tenure...

Seems to me that kind of speed could be better used on offense...stretch the field etc. But I guess it could be used on the D to cover speed...

We have an athlete with elite speed and measurables to fit at multiple positions. HCMM's strategy of letting the kid play multiple positions to find the one where he is most useful to the team is the right way to go. Just because his speed would look nice on paper as a WR does not mean that is his best position.

Get athletes on the roster, figure where to put them later.

That's a good point. I know that's been Mac's strategy and seems a great way to rebuild a program.
