Was anybody there in the rain in Lincoln?

I was there with my family, I remember the hype before the game. Sal is dead sign over I-80, the front page of the Lincoln paper talking about how it was time for Osborne and NU to win "the big game".

It was drizzing, pissing, pelting, sleet and mix snow. CU had several chances to blow the game open, but Bieniemy kept fumbling deep in NU territory, letting NU get momentum. But CU really dominated the game on defense.
Then Mickey Joseph's run down the sideline when he stepped out. then the pass to Johhny Mitchell to put NU up 12-0 late in the third.

Then the buffs exploded. EB reddemed himself with 4 4Q TD's. After the 3rd TD, I remember my dad picking up my freezing brother who was huddled under the bleachers and put him on his shoulders and said, "I don't care how cold you are, we haven't done this in Lincoln since 1967, and you're gonna see it!"

CU section went crazy, and NU fans were calling for Osborn's head after the game. Another big game lost by Dr. Tom!:smile2:

I think CU also became the first team to ever beat Oklahoma and Nebraska in consecutive weeks two straight years.

The best part was CU players displaying their t-shirts to the husker crowd that read, "The real blackshirts!"

Was at the game, freezing my ever loving ass off. A ROTC buddy of mine got arrested on the field for pissing on the "N". I thought it was the funniest thing I had ever seen. He just whipped out his dick and started pissing on the field.

Man, all this talk makes me want to pop in the DVD of the game and watch it. But I need to mow the lawn, dammit! Stop putting these bad thought in my head!!!

Now where is that DVD?? Hmmmm...

I was there. I had the tape, it is probably at my folks house now, but I was in a crowd shot on ESPN. We went out on the field and danced  on the N after the game...I just hope it was before sacky's buddy marked his territory.:wtf:

I got hurt the week before in Oklahoma practices, but 4 of us drove out in my mustang, and I could hardly bend my knee. Coming back there were 5 of us crammed into the poor little mustang. But after the victory we didn't care...even after we got rousted from PO pears...

I was there. I shaved the back of my head into the shape of a CU buffalo for the game. I was cold, wet, miserable and missing my hair for the first three quarters but in the forth I didn't care!
