ICYMI: Boise State stomped a mudhole in Hawaii

Um, they stomped a mudhole in Hawaii as in, the team was dominated. The game was played at Boise where we played at Hawaii for our game, but the venue change shouldn't account for that much of a turn.

Venue change is actually huge for Hawaii. Probably more so than any other FBS team.

Hawaii has managed 0 points in their 3 other games against FBS opponents. Still ridiculous that we allowed 28.

Actually dropped by to congratulate you guys on playing a strong game against Oregon. Some nice signs of progress I thought. But then I saw this thread and decided to quickly chime in.

This game was not as close as the final score indicated. BSU was up 49-0 at halftime and called off the dogs immediately upon the start of the third quarter. Boise State is on a roll since starting QB Ryan Finley got hurt and true freshman Brett Rypien (nephew of Redskins QB Mark Rypien) replaced him. The team that struggled to a 16-13 win over Washington early in the year is not the same one playing now.

Which is a really positive sign for any fanbase who is displeased with the state of their program. Sometimes it really does only take one player to really start turning things around. Good luck the rest of the year to the Buffs. I'll be rooting for you now that you're past the CSU game. (Had to root for CSU in that one for SOS purposes for my team.)
