didn't sound good as they were talking about it on the post game radio show...
got really banged up late in the game... Buffs could be on the bad end of their first blowout in Tempe
if he doesn't play....

yes he's frustrating but next man up scares me-

Why? At worst it is another QB that can't read a defense. Only difference is that Sefo is experienced at not reading it.

I hope he isn't hurt and that he is just really beat up. I expect that a lot of the CU team is really beat up, Oregon just was physically dominant and beat the Buffs up. Sefo isn't a superstar quarterback but he is a solid QB and I would rather have him starting right now than not. Plus he does show courage, a lot of courage. Also, I don't want our freshman learning the ropes by getting beat on. Not good for confidence and a lack of confidence at the start of a career can kill a career. So for many reasons, I hope Sefo is well.

I agree with most of this post. The gist of it is that Sefo is our best chance at winning because he's gritty and has the most experience. Our OL frequently lets someone thru and Sefo is probably much better than anyone else on the roster at avoiding pressure.

Throwing a rookie in there just puts in a deer in the headlights. With a better OL Id say ok as he should grow from the experience. But I can't see how it could lead to a win unless its a running type option guy or something and were gonna run that a lot more.

Once again the table setting seems to be a problem.

Guarantee no other qb gives it everything he's got like sefo did last night. By the end of the game he was the only on Offense trying to fight back.

Will be a big loss if he is out
That's a sad commentary on our QB recruiting. I don't see Sefo as some hyper competitive player. His competitiveness is pretty average for a college QB. Last year was a QB bonanza on the West Coast, and Mike was left holding his dick.

I was listening to the Duck broadcast and they'd say things like: Ducks are still having coverage issues, he was wide open. It's lucky the ball was overthrown. They dodged a bullet there.

It was painful.

That is a pretty hard smack down on three scholarship QBs on the roster behind Liufau. How do you measure their guts or heart or whatever intangible measurement you want to use that allows you to "guarantee" that the three other guys are lesser men as measured by your standards?

That has always been the issue with Sefo.....he is unaware of open wide receivers. Would be interesting to have a candid conversation with Buff receivers about this topic....

There are many times that Luifau drops back and waits and waits and waits before he either starts running from the pocket or throws a long, across the field lateral pass. The OL definitely has problems, but Luifau clearly has problems with timing if his primary receiver is not open. Either the receivers are not getting open or Luifau is not seeing them. There was plenty of open WR last night.

OK Fatclown, which QB on the West Coast should have been a Buff last year? Did Utah recruit over us? Oregon State? Which ****ty program took a West Coast QB that we should have got, and that you know for a fact has a higher ceiling than Montez?
Freaking Alabama and Oregon have no QB, and FSU, Michigan, etc are relying on transfers.

It's pretty clear that Sefo is effected by his injury but is still our best option. Bummer.

Did you say "DOOMED!!!?"

That's my main beef with Sefo...he either doesn't see the wide open guy or misses the throw. If we had a QB who could make those plays, regardless of how bad the OL is, we will win more games. Sefo is the problem, but all I hear is he's the best we have. #KobiashiMaru.

You're the ****ing clown that said recruiting wasn't important to win. How long you gonna swing on Mikes little nuts?

Good Lord. I knew it was a mistake to come here. Here's an interesting comment Nik touched on. My friends who don't watch cu were watching on TV. They thought sefo looked pretty decent when he got protection. You guys also don't realize how hurt he is like at all. Everyone is more critical of their own team.

I thought he looked okay last night. Nothing great, nothing horrible.

The injury excuse rings a little hollow if he continues to play every week.

Holic- the same guy touting Gamboa all Fall as proof MM'S recruiting is working
