Recruiting outfall for USC/Benefits for CU?

Welcome. Now get me a sammich and a nice IPA. as for flipping USC recruits - not sure we are in on any that hard given size of the class. Others would know better than me though. Plus, we have work to do on our end to show progress on the field.

With where our program is right now I don't think we are competing with USC for many kids.

The only way it may impact us is if a kid who is leaning USC decides to go to one of the schools we do hope to compete with and bumps another kid out.

When was the last time we signed a kid who had a legit USC offer?

There's a current USC commit who is likely scheduling a CU trip. Jordan Iosefa from Hawaii.

IN HIS WORDS: "Coach Sark is a great coach and he knows what to do," Iosefa told Rivals.com. "As of right now, all we need to do as recruits is be supportive of the school and coach Sark. I have no change in my commitment. "My family and I are still deciding on other visits. Other schools are still trying to recruit me although I'm still committed. Colorado and UCLA are pushing. I'm trying to plan my official to USC this week probably for January after the season." - See more at: https://www.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1813019

(Note - he hadn't heard about Sark's situation until told during the interview. So he was already thinking hard about visiting CU and he hadn't had a chance to digest the news when he responded that his commitment is unchanged.)

Also a position of great need. Hopefully we can wow him.

Thanks for raining diarrhea on our parade
Sorry...couldn't resist....

USC will most likely hold on to most of their recruits...the press likes to speculate but USC is one of those storied programs where kids grow up wanting to play there. Plus they will hire an A-List coach to take over. Plus they have several assistants who are good recruiters....

I suspect the new coach will release some. Much like #5 was released when Sark was hired. It will create some turmoil but we won't be in a position to benefit in most scenarios.

Given recent history, I think we would have a better shot getting a transfer than flipping a recruit. But what the hell do I know.
