Heart of the season is on us. Weekend to see who can maintain momentum and who will stumble.

Only one game matching to top 25 teams this week

(15)Texas A&M visits (24) Ole Miss Ole Miss trying to halt their free fall out of the rankings

Key match-ups in the PAC include
( 20 )Cal against a UCLA team that has fallen from the rankings opening the Thursday schedule
( 3 )Utah trying to add to the suffering of a USC team trying to recover from the Sark Drama
And Washington likely to absorb a beating visiting (10) Stanford

Elsewhere can Northwestern add to the fuskers worst season in decades
F***Baylor may put up 60 again against Iowa State but still not have the largest margin of victory in the B12 as (14) Okie Lite gets the bye week with Kansas visiting.

Locally AFA tries to come back from last weeks disappointment hosting Fresno.
The good feelings at Wyoming following their first win of the year last week aren't likely to continue as they get to travel to a Boise team likely to take out some major frustration on them following their worst conference loss in years last week.

In the small colleges locally a great match-up with a 7-0 Mines visiting 6-1 defending national champs CSU-Pueblo. This could be a perfect opportunity to enjoy the best of small college football for those who can make it.

Love the way cals running backs run. The get their shoulders square quickly, get low and explode through defenders.

I made the mistake of watching that dreadful NFL game. Were the first 2 1/2 quarters of the UCLA/Cal game as one-sided as the score suggested?

Vegas odds are about the money, not who wins and loses the game. Vegas sets the odds so that they make money. USC money moves the line. It opened at -3 (home field) has since moved to -4

Utah will win the game, and the casinos will make money.

I hope you guys win.

Look at the sniper dropping knowledge that everybody already knows.

DevilDog may be a former Marine, but he still maintains the rank of Captain.

Now he's a marine? Does that give him a pass for being a shameless front runner?

Maybe I misinterpreted Alfred91's response, but it didn't seem to me that he recognized it.
The spaceman obviously thinks you need to be a bigger assh*le, sh!tstain.

Still I'm better off at this point than Flukes... his Bears look broken.

Disagree. Flukes is good enough, smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like him.

His golden ursa, however, remain beta to Stanford's alpha, Captain.

So Fuente and this Memphis bunch sure can light up a scoreboard. Defense leaves a little something to be desired, but offense aplenty.

What concerns me about Fuente is his rise coincides with this Lynch character who seems really freaking good. Not that we should take away finding him and coaching him up, but it could be like Mac with Fales. They're all risks I suppose.

Now the spaceman thinks he may have only been too subtle for you.

Same Utah State team that blew out Boise last week getting hammered at half by a not great San Diego State team 34-7.
