Offensive Line is the biggest problem, I think.

Moment I knew it was over: when the defense couldn't get off the field on a 3rd and 18, giving up a long touchdown.

Stanford redshirt frosh bigger than us or the same size. Ugly

We can compete with mid-tier PAC12 teams, but still a ways away from doing so with the elite. Next week will be ugly too.

I think Crawley has been a tad overrated by us buff fans. He has to be in the running for most disappointing. His effort is complete garbage too.
He's usually had really tight coverage (which is awesome), but has not made the big plays. I think the effort thing is an issue - he's allowed himself to get blocked too easily too often, and he gives a half hearted jog when chasing guys.

Their OL and DL are men. We have little to match them. The fact Weifels was starting shows you how thin we are. Need to have a healthy team next year and to get much better across the board. Awuzie and TT are special.

Of course, MacIntyre is not in any way responsible for the lack of talent that led to the mismatch. It's gotta be Embree's fault!!!

We're nowhere near having the front 7 talent to hang with an offense like that.

But Wazzou does? Not saying we had the talent. We aren't anywhere close. But why can't we even give them a game for 2 quarters? I knew in th second it was over. And that it was going to be a beat down.

This game was over in the second.

Other than spruce I can't think of a senior on this team that I am going to really miss.

A couple others have talent but unfortunately I think that most of the senior class are the carriers of the old attitude that has made us bad for years. We see KC jog after getting beat, we see Nembot shrug after wiffing and getting his QB or RB almost killed.

I think Bell cares but isn't physically the same after his injuries. Solis has been a pleasant surprise at the nose but Tupou should be back in his spot next year in his spot. Powell has already be moved down the depth chart.

The team for one of the few times this season showed some quit today but nothing like they have in past years. Now we need for younger leaders to learn and teach the team to win.

Before the season I thought there were at least 4 games where the Buffs might get boat raced.

asu - check
oregano - not really, just dominated late
fUcla - no, but the Buffs need to learn how to close
'furd - check

Didn't consider the yoots in this group before, but the reality is that it may happen. It will be our 13th consecutive weekend to be in action and they may have something to prove.

I hope I'm wrong.

It certainly won't be KC, dude has ability but has a knack for not getting it done. How the **** you gonna get beat on 3rd and 18 deep? That's inexcusable.

I get tired of the same conversation after every game.

MM's not going anywhere after this year.

Stanford is designed to beat teams like us, and they have the talent to accomplish that against teams much more talented than ours. We're going to get smoked by them until we get much more talented, especially on the o-line and front 7.

Hmm so yalls point is football never changed? Well, no ****, anything else? Some of the crap we do though are elementary mistakes, you'd think older players would know better. I guess not. To me, it means they don't give a ****. Cut them now, I would.

Stanford is designed to beat every team like that. They do their thing man, period.

Stanford is designed to beat ****ty teams. Unlike other top teams, who are not designed to beat ****ty teams. Rather they rely on.. other tactics to beat ****ty teams.

I am not seeing many difference makers up and down the roster though.
True. The blame for the lack of talent is definitely shared. Senior leadership is paramount, though, and there simply isn't any in this class (yes, im even including Spruce as far as an on-field leader).

Yeah that was ugly... worst and most complete beat down I've seen in person. and crawley..... he played so so so so bad.
On a positive note, Beautiful day at folsom.

Today we saw what the best in the conference looks like. McCaffery is a stud. Kid has some serious wheels and his field vision is off the charts. You can't coach those things. You either have them or you don't.
