CU at Utah pregame thread

This whole 2 week out thing makes planning a trip out there difficult. But kickoff at 12:30 is about perfect for this time of year. Looking forward to catching a game in SLC. Any allbuffers going?

Tempted. But it's 19 hour road trip. And family are in town for turkey day.

I think you just identified a legitimate reason to make the roadie...

Yep. That's exactly the reason I know it's a 19 hour road trip - each way. Too bad the holidays make booking flights from DFW to SLC and dealing with airports and rental car companies such a hassle.

One of these years I'm going to bite the bullet and check off Rice Eccles.

I have visited a few different Pac-12 stadiums while I was in the marching band. Now that I get to choose my travel destinations, I am going to try to go a different road game every year, and check out all 11 of the other stadiums as just a fan. RE will be the first one.

I understand Utah has some of the loudest fans in the conference. Not hard to do considering schools like Furd and CU with lackluster support, but heard it's pretty a pretty electric atmosphere.

Pitiful. This is rivalry week and supposed to be a rivalry game. You don't say these kinds of things about your rival school. "Can't wait to check out the electric atmoshpere and their great fans". Maybe I can share a Sprite and casserole with some Utes at the pre game tailgate.

Visitor sections are W07 and W06. You can no longer purchase them through the CU ticket office, only through Utah.

Devontae Booker out for the regular season apparently.

oh man is that a lift to our chances. Kid is special.

The twitter rumor mill is saying its a Torn Meniscus, will have surgery soon. Likely return in time for a bowl game, but no guarantee.

WHOA. That completely changes their entire offense.

Hate to see that for him, though.

I better beat down the hope that's springing up in my heart for this one, but that's encouraging for the Buffs.

Yay! Anything to help the buffs right now is good.
Hate to see guys get injured, but it's not career ending.

Why don't we know our Unis for THIS week yet?

Very sorry to hear about Booker's injury. Not as sorry as I was to hear about Jeromy Irwin's, but you know...

Utah is struggling badly right now. Our depth is not where it needs to be to compete for the conference championship. All teams have injuries to big play makers by this point in the season. No team in the PAC 12 has lost more talent to injury this season than UCLA, and they just came into our house and beat us. We couldn't even score a touchdown for the first time in over three years.

I really believe this game with CU could go either way.
