Thursday night games not real interesting

Some big games this Saturday
B12 Shakeout
(18)TCU at (7) Oklahoma After getting embarrassed by Texas how many Sooner fans thought they would be finishing the year with a good shot at the Playoff. TCU's dreams ended in the last couple weeks.
(10) f*** Baylor visiting (6) Okie Lite Surprised as the Sooners fans are the Okie Lite fans are living a dream, win out and they would be almost impossible to keep out. The coach is a man and they have a dream.

With leader Bama playing the mighty Charleston Southern body bag fillers the big game this week in the SEC has (15) LSU playing (22) Ole Miss. Both teams trying to put a decent finish on seasons that crashed after promising starts.

Big 10 sorting out game this week
(9) Sparty visiting (3) Ohio State in what may be the Buckeye's biggest obstacle to the playoffs.
also in a battle of some teams that can play old fashioned football
(20) Northwestern at (25) Wisconsin

In the PAC we have (24)USC at (23) Oregon. Two teams trying to at least finish the season ranked after some big stumbles this year.
Also UCLA to try to pay back (13) Utah with an upset.
In what looks like a mismatch Cal visits (10) Stanford who has dominated the last 5 matches but Stanford is coming off an ugly close loss to Oregon that knocked them out of the Playoff picture

Locally
AFA gets a Friday night game against a Boise team that has already lost 3 games this year.
The sheep travel to New Mexico needing a road win in one of their last two games to be bowl eligible.
Wyoming doesn't have that problem. They won't lose this week, only because they don't play.

We don't get the pleasure of seeing another fusker loss or wHornes loss as both are off this week.

CSU-Pueblo starts it's defense of the national title Saturday hosting the University of Indianapolis.

Do any of this weeks games have jobs hanging on them?

We have heard the rumors of Les Miles but it is getting to be that time of year when a bad loss can get a coach out the door. Does anyone go this week?

Mtn ... thanks for doing these.

Also on the B1G card is Michigan at Penn State, a none too easy task for the Wolverines. If Michigan survives Happy Valley and the Suckeyes beat Sparty, then next week's tilt would be monumental.

Brown now up 21-7 but Columbia knocking on the door with a first and goal.

Lots of fans dressed as empty seats. I've seen bigger HS crowds.

Update 21-14 with a few seconds till halftime.

Ugly start for AFA.

Boise runs right up the middle for a long TD on the first play from scrimmage.
AFA first play from scrimmage QB is stripped of the ball giving Boise the ball back inside the 25.

AFA treating the football like it has been greased. Had first and goal inside the 5 but Boise stopped them for a FG. Lucky to get that because they had one official fumble that they fell on and a couple others that should have been fumbles recovered by Boise that were instead called down.

Zoomies getting jobbed by the Mwac refs since... Hard to watch and worse to listen to espn team...

Not a fan of Bukeyes, but don't think Sparty will hang with them.

Love the way Zoomies thrive with assignment and execution. That was fun to watch.

With the way they started AFA could have easily folded. Instead they sucked it up and won a game in a hostile environment against a solid opponent. Says a lot about the character of the players.

I can't wait to see which MAC head coach Mike Bohn settles on after Tuberville is hired as Miami's 7th choice.

Can't say that Boise is now a strong opponent. Lost two in a row at home to solid divisional opponents.

New Mexico playing well in Davies' 4th year. After winning a total of 4 Conf games the last 3 years. Should go 8-4 and to a bowl game.

Like Leach at WSU, years 1-3 didn't inspire a lot of confidence amongst the fan base.

At least his gimmick O led them to a bowl loss in year 2. I would have taken that this year.... err last year I mean

Citadel just made a FG. Up 17-16 at South Carolina with 10:30 to play.

Florida up 14-7 heading into the 4th quarter vs FAU. Looks like the Gators are starting to take control with their ground game, though.

Holic going all in on 2016 being good.

Nope. All in on a fourth year. Slightly hedging my bet on success though. But I've seen more in a disappointing year three than UNM and WSU fans saw last year in same situations. Similar rebuilding situations.
