We now bring you to Knoxville, Tennessee

In Colorado they'd talk about shutting the football program down. In Tennessee they will issue a harsh internal punishment like having the team watch a "can do / no can do" video and then having to do a punishment lap around the field for the opening of their Spring game while the Home Depot convention dressed crowd chants "death to the lying whores".

Now a guy mooning another guy, as a joke, in front of a female trainer is a sexual assault.

I can't go for that.

Is the Peyton Manning Title IX thing related to this?

Not really. The plaintiffs in the current Title IX lawsuit cite the Manning incident as an example of the University's deliberate indifference.

Report: Cops Called Butch Jones Before Searching Home Where Two Players Allegedly Raped A Woman

There’s no way to know from the phone records the content of these calls, only the times and approximate length. Jones already has released a statement saying that his conversation with Bowles was “to support Drae and make sure he was OK.”

As to the calls with law enforcement, Jones said: “Anytime we have a disciplinary issue with a player, we have as many conversations as needed with players, parents, law enforcement, whomever until we can be sure that we are making the best decision possible.”

I have two diametrically opposed reactions to this. One is why the **** are priorities so screwed up in the SEC-land that this stuff seems to be commonplace? The other is, why the **** couldn't the the city of Boulder been a little more like these places during the "scandal"?

Definitely on the cop, but should be a problem for Butch because he called the player to warn him immediately after his call with the fuzz. His first call should have been to the school administration to figure out how to handle the situation.

Very glad Butch backed out of the CU job. This guy seems like a grade A scumbag.

You're not suggesting that he was, um, catering to his players, are you?
