I didn't see this elsewhere. Here is a link to the article and below a Google translation of the first part. Pretty funny.

Vikings land Sensations coup
Former Boise State and Team USA Head Coach Dan Hawkins will coach the season in 2016 with the Vienna Vikings.

Coach Hawkins looks long and highly successful career as a football player and football coach. He broke records as Head Coach at top universities such as Boise State University or the University of Colorado.

The Vienna Vikings have drawn with Dan Hawkins a very big fish. The now 55-year-old was 2001-20015 head coach at Boise State and from 2006 to 2010 head coach of Colorado, also at the highest college level. At both universities he broke as a coach several records. In between, he was always as a college football expert on the TV channel ESPN. After a stopover in the Canadian Football

Cody´s gonna coach the QBs, but I can´t stop laughing at them saying he broke several records at both Boise and CU.

He isn´t even gonna be the HC, he´ll be the Co-OC.

Those poor Vienese. They're about to be treated to a fresh heaping pile of bullish.it and they won't even know what they're being fed.

"Vos ist "pound it und launch it"?

@Jens1893 could attend a game. If we can get him a good seat he can throw a pissbomb on him for us.

fify

Or maybe at least a couple of loaded marshmallows.

I actually don't have as much hate for Hawkins as I do for the clowns that kept him around long after it was obvious that he was a disaster as a coach, but of course these are the same clowns who threw GB and a bunch of innocent young men under the bus and who replaced Hawkins with a coach who had never been a coordinator.

I think it was 58-0 if I recall. Not sure though. We are still talking about Hackins lol.

It was either 56 or 58 and it was to Mizzou. If I remember right this happened only a few weeks after we kicked a FG late in a game we were down multiple TDs to avoid the shutout. None of which was as embarrassing as giving up 54 points to Toledo in losing 54-38 to a mid-level MAC team.

that mizzery shut-out, looking back, might be as close to ending my life-long fanhood as anything before or since. there have been plenty of other soul-crushing losses other than that one, but damn it left a mark. it just felt so ****ing hopeless... to a team we owned for nearly two decades.

FHCDH's decision not to kick a FG and go for it on 4th down was the exact moment my buyer's remorse blossomed. Everything continued to dog pile from that moment forward.

238 games I recall. 3rd longest streak in the nation is how I remember it.

The guy is a joke, everybody on this side of the Atlantic knows it, soon it will be common knowledge in Europe as well. Asia FB league?

Those who care about football here know he´s an idiot already and the rest won´t care.
