Congratulations to Ryan Koenigsberg ( @RK ) for being named editor of BSN Broncos. Major promotion. His career is advancing quickly and it is well-earned.

It's so great to have Will ( @YngC ) back full time covering the Buffs, too. (Or at least finding a Buffs angle to what's mostly a booze and food story. :p ) He's known as the best we've ever had on the CU beat for hoops & hoops recruiting, but his football coverage is underrated. I look forward to seeing him branch out more this fall.

A big welcome to Will!

congrats to them both. I'm sure Ryan is excited to be moving "up" and to a place where he can be an unabashed Buff fan again.

Thanks, guys! And, really, thank you for your support in getting BSN Buffs up and running, Allbuffs was an integral part of building it up to a respected source.

Can't remember if I told this story here before but when I was hired to the job I was told something along the lines of, "Don't worry about the numbers on the Buffs site, we know they're going to be rough with the football team struggling and what not." I knew I didn't have to worry about the numbers, but for a different reason, because CU really has an amazing fan base (as much as you love to cannibalize each other ;)).
Well, with your help, as we launched BSN, CU articles were constantly getting the most traffic and the Buffs site actually had the most visitors per article in 2015. So thank you.

That was a big reason that when I started moving towards the Broncos, I told the higher-ups that we had to get Will to take over the Buffs page, somebody that the fanbase already knew and respected. As excited as I am for my new challenge, I might be equally excited to see what Will does with our Buffs coverage, I'm just happy to read him just as a fan of his writing.

So again, thank you all for reading, commenting, agreeing, disagreeing and just supporting me as I took that on. I hope those of you who follow the Broncos will bring that great support over there. And, like I said in those tweets, I'm not just going to disappear from the CU community, I'll be around doing podcasts and some other coverage when the teams are in-season... Maybe I'll even UBL someone for old times sake?

Appreciate the kind words. Even when back in New York, I found so much of my day dedicated to discussing CU on Twitter with you guys, so this is a natural move for me I think. Obviously, the job that Ryan did to build BSNBuffs is insane, seriously ****ing insane. I'm lucky to be taking over a page with so much dedication already.

What are your feelings on explaining punch lines?

Are you willing to sit down in Boulder Creek to get an interview with Jim Leavitt?

What I've always appreciated from Will is that being close to AAU ball for a long time, he also understands sports from the perspective of a young student-athlete. That's important when us thirtysomething cubicle types would react to news in a certain way without considering things as the player sees them. Will and RK are an asset for covering Colorado teams. I shudder to think what sports journalism on the Front Range would be like without their hard work. And considering I used to read the post when Henderson and Kiszla were both writing, I just shuddered again.

I like BSN. I always feel sad for the guys over there when I see article after article with no comments. I hope that's not indicative of the number of clicks.
