Thought it would be good to have a landing spot to CSU roster info & whatnot that affects the game.

Also, news on tickets, parking, tailgating, television, etc.

Tickets went on sale this week (Tuesday, June 14th).

BOULDER -- Tuesday marks the start of the countdown to the Rocky Mountain Showdown presented by Albertsons-Safeway. Single game tickets to the Colorado Buffaloes’ 88th meeting with Colorado State went on sale at 9 a.m. on June 14, starting at just $35.

The Mile High City will host the rivalry for the 19th time at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. mountain standard time on Friday, September 2, and will broadcast on ESPN.

Purchase your tickets online at CUBuffs.com, in-person at the ticket office in CU’s new Champion Center, or by phone at 303-492-8337. Tickets are also available at Ticketmaster.com.

CSU tickets can also be purhcased as part of a season ticket or the 3-Game Pick Your Plan.

Student tickets to CU vs. CSU are included in the CU sports pass, available at cubuffs.com/students.

Couple updates on CSU's roster. They've taken a couple hits to their defensive backfield this summer.

1. Devron Davis, a junior college transfer at CB, was expected to start for the Rams this season and had signed with them back on NLI day. However, he has been released from his scholarship.

2. Justin Sweet, a projected starter at S following spring practices, was arrested for a DUI on 6/15. No word from Bobo yet on what this means, but it's hard to imagine that there won't be any suspension that includes all or part of the season opener.

Really wish this game wasn't on Friday night. Prevents me from going or even watching it, as the High School season opens up that weekend.

I will still take work off and be there on Friday but last year was perfect timing IMO.

..
with daylight savings time not ending until November, that is going to be confusing.

Ugh hate the game in Denver, but look forward to start of season. Especially on a Friday night with traffic including Rockies traffic. I'll be doing my annual boycott of the game in Denver.

Add Taste of Colorado and Riot Fest to that mix, and this could be the biggest cluster **** ever.

I was flying back from Charlotte sitting next to a lady. I didn't really talk to her until we were about to land. She and her one son were heading to Ft. Collins to see her other son who goes to CSU. Turns out her son is Collin Hill. He was an early enrollee in January. He was an all state QB in S.C. He's 6' 5" and 225. Anyone know anything about him? I have a feeling he's pretty good.

Always trust mom's evaluation about her kids' abilities.

Serious question TSheck, have you had to move around a lot coaching? My brother must have coached at 12 different schools as an assistant, finally got to settle somewhere as a head coach.
No. This will be my 5th year as an assistant at the same program. Once I settled into a steady job after college, I contacted the HC I played for in high school and asked if he needed any help. I started as an assistant for our Freshman team and moved up to JV/V the following season and have been there ever since. It's not my main job or anything, just something I enjoy doing outside of work.

That's good, my brother just about quit. He got tired of moving.
