1970 Liberty Bowl ticket?

Hi - I'm a new board member and as the handle probably reveals I'm a Tulane alum/fan. Right now I'm working on a collecting project, specifically collecting all the ticket stubs from Tulane Bowl games. One that I still need is the 1970 Liberty Bowl in which the Green Wave defeated Colorado. If any of you have a ticket stub from that game that you would sell please pm me!

Also, if any of you went to the game and have stories about it, feel free to share them here. It was long before I was born so any stories are appreciated. I know it's probably not the best game to bring up since it was a Colorado loss, but maybe you'll humor a generally downtrodden Green Wave fan. Thanks!

David Plati is the SID, if anybody would know how to lay hands on something like that, it would be him.
 
Check cuatthegame. Stuart sometimes has full write ups of old significant (and insignificant) games.

Thanks for tagging Montana, I can never remember his allbuffs user name.

For some reason I thought I had seen some write ups of games earlier than 1980 there - like the 1971 roadies to LSU and tOSU. (That season was an amazing one for the Big 8 - only time a conference finished 1, 2, 3 in the final polls - the SEC will never be able to claim that sort of football dominance.)
 
Hello again. I spoke with both Dave Plati and Stuart Whitehair and while both did their best to help me find a stub from this game, neither had any luck. I appreciate them and also the folks on this board who pointed me their way. As I told Dave, I don't have a rooting interest outside of Tulane, but considering the help and efforts I've had here (far more than from other schools) I'll be pulling for Colorado going forward. Hope you guys have a great season and kick some tail.
