Mike Murphy - Director of Player Personnel (informative interview)

Once you get past the section about MacIntyre's wonderous deeds, which was clearly written by a member of the MacIntyre family, the info on the recruiting was pretty good. I really like that they have gotten away from just watching highlight vids like on HUDL, game tape is important. Hopefully they replace this guy with another NFL trained scout. Maybe this guy was instrumental in the uograde of which players CU pursues and his replacement is critical to get right.

There was never a time they just watched highlights . Where do you get this stuff?

if i read the article right,he just left/is leaving for the NY Giants

He left for here a year ago. I don't see anything that says he left and he's in the CU directory. Talks specifically about needs in this class.

It said he took a job with the Giants and was leaving in early July.

MacIntyre hired Murphy to help with recruiting on March 1, 2015. The difference in recruited talent is already noticeable with the Buffaloes 2017 class shaping up to be perhaps one of the best in some 20 years.

In a Recruiting News Guru exclusive interview, I sat down with Murphy for an in-depth discussion on Colorado football and what it means to be a Director of Player Personnel at the collegiate level.

*Mike Murphy took a position with the New York Giants starting at the beginning of July.
