I really like Bey's game. Undersized PF who can rebound and D up like a monster, but doesn't have much of an offensive game. Will had a nice little talk about him on the last BSN Buffs podcast in which he brought up a good point - this could be the time where Bey starts to explode. He's gonna do great in the July period because he busts his ass and plays D, so this is going to be a battle, but he might be my top choice right now for '17. He's the perfect stereotypical Tad player (if only he were left handed...)

I really like him, but that final 6 is filled with some... interesting options. Fresno St? Wyo? Sparky? *shrugs*

Could be rewarding the guys who have been sticking with him the longest. Remember, all reports about his game prior to the last 6 months or so were just that he was a good player who can play D and board. It wasn't until the last bit that he's developed a decent all around game. And even then, that's not sexy so it may not be getting the attention of the big dogs.

National recruiting experts consider the class of 18 to be weak, so it's sort of a nice coincidence that we have a lot of scholarships that need filling this recruiting cycle. I know that this perception may likely speak more to top 50 players, but still, I'm glad that we're not trying to sign a big class in a down year.

Yeah. Even if 51-150 are not down in 2018, there's definitely a trickle down for the programs in the 2nd tier as the blue bloods end up dipping into the guys that would normally sign at their conference mates.

So in Tad's system does Bey play the 3 & 4, sort of like XJ only with a slighter build :). And the same for Strating, the Dutch kid?
