AZ Football Starting Center passes away

I know it is early but any idea yet of what happened.

Under no circumstances would something like this be easy for the family and close friends but if it is natural causes I may be a little easier to eventually come to grips than if it were something that could be looked at as "preventable."

I'm not sure how a 22 year old can die of natural causes.

J V Cain Wasn't a lot older when his heart blew up and he died on the practice field of the St. Louis Cardinals. He had medical check-ups, took care of himself, and was not using drugs or alcohol.

Congenital heart defect got him. Buff family and everyone lost a good guy to natural causes.

It's rare but there are things that can happen.

I was an RA in a dorm at CU and had a resident pass away in his dorm room. Went to sleep and he had a congenital heart defect nobody knew about. Just did not wake up. It can happen

Barring drugs or something, that's the most likely cause of sudden death in a young guy.

very very sad....prayers out to his family.
Despite the rivalries between schools/teams, it's very sad when you see things like this and the punter from Nebraska that went down too early in life.

This is a brotherhood of sport that we are all ascribed to, and the most prevalent feelings between these schools is respect and admiration for what they bring to the table. We might not get along on the gridiron, but in life off the field, we are all brothers.

Except for Lawrence Phillips....he's just crazy.
