Probably, although I have heard before that there is language in our contracts with distributors that prevents the Pac-12 from going for online subscriptions. If that is indeed true then they made a mistake.

Finally bowing to market pressures. I don't think they'll ever be able to make up the lost revenue from original subscriber model. It'll be backed up by the same tech used by MLB's streaming service.

More confirmation of how rapidly cord cutting is changing the content delivery model. The P12 is eventually going to have to move this way.

Disney bought a 33% stake in MLBs BAMtech and the right to buy a majority stake. Wants to own the backbone, probably to make up revenue.

Pac12 Streaming is done by a company called InDemand thats owned by a conglomerate of cable companies (Comcast, Cox, Charter, Bright House, et al).
