Thought he was going to be redshirted. Any idea why it was burned with about 2 minutes to go?

Never thought they intended to redshirt him, and it was actually a great way to get his first college touches.

A few more next week, and it won't be a big deal when they sub him in at the big house.

He was never going to redshirt. I know it was against a ****ty defense, but he's big and he ran hard. I'm excited for his future with the Buffs.

Looks like Adkins is this year's Mosley or Yuri.

I expect Beau to develop over the course of the season and be a major part of things by the final third of the year.

Bigger question to me is why MM didn't pull Liufau earlier in the game, ~mid 3rd quarter. He knows Sefo's gonna lay it all out there, but we're up 30! He's gotta play Montez sooner than that. Feel like we got lucky that Sefo didn't get banged up worse. Hopefully 1st team offense and defense get pulled mid 3rd against Idaho State because we're up by a lot. UofM's D will put even Sefo's toughness to the test.

Go Buffs.

Looked pretty good.

Hagan made some comment earlier about Beau being ready to roll by game 5. I was expecting him to play after he said that.

Looks like he'll be a great guy to get those 3rd and short 1st downs and red zone scores!

However... In a perfect world, he would be a badass Mike Backer for us.

When he got the ball, everybody in the stadium knew we were going to run the ball. Same with Evans the series before. We didn't disguise anything in those drives. Base formation, straight handoff. We still ran it down their throats.

God I love watching that.
A RB gets the ball and everyone knows it's a run. Interesting.

Beau was always going to play because of his role on Special Teams. That redshirt was never in consideration. It's an indication we still don't have enough good sized athletes with speed to fully fill out the ST roster, but we are so much closer....

i thought bb looked pretty good for a frosh in game 1. if we are truly going to run this uptempo offense all year, we are going to need a stable of RBs.

what a good game 1!

He looked about 1000x better against CSU than he did at the scrimmage. I left that thinking he would be a linebacker by mid October. Showed a lot more quickness, decisiveness, and even a little wiggle last night.

Seriously, I was cheering for BB to execute a drop kick for a score! Haven't seen that since Flutie's last game.
