Leavitt Leader

I'd like to have Jim figure out why seemingly every play Michigan ran wide left went for 20 or more yards.

23 can't set the edge. 98 is too small. 47 gets blocked too easily. 32 can't scrape, gets hung in traffic. 95 was hurt.

I'm not very concerned about the defense. Got exposed on the edges and with short crossing routes. I think that's fixable. Might have to play Lewis more to get speed on the field. Falo's suspension ending will help a ton, too. Got to work Fisher into the rotation more at safety, too.

"We lost and that burns my behind," He said as he stood outside of Michigan Stadium. "I didn't come here to play close. I came here to beat Michigan. That was all my mindset and we didn't get it done, so it burns my behind. That's all there is to it."

Critical," he said. "It's the No. 1 thing. It really hurt us today. We weren't good enough. There's a lot of defensive guys on there. We weren't good enough there, but we weren't good enough anywhere. We have to be better on defense; special teams certainly, everybody saw that; that was glaring. But also offensively. We all have to be better. Coaches have to be better.

"I didn't come to Colorado to play people close," he said. "I came to Colorado to help build a program and to win games like this, you know? I didn't come here to mess around. That's not part of my whole deal.

"I'm telling you, Colorado can win. There's no excuses. I'm just telling you. I don't want to hear excuses. We have to coach better. It's hard on us.

Players don't go out and make mistakes because they just want to make mistakes. We have to do a better job of coaching."

Amazing how fired up Mac2 can get and has a full understanding of

Responsiblity, Authority, Accountability.

I have a dream.

I have never heard Mac2 take the responsibility like a real head coach.

Boy, wish they would have made it a two game suspension. Still about 4 times the length of a severe SEC suspension.
Yeah but considering the Baylor situation I thought it was a perfect length. Besides I don't know how much falo would have helped. He is a smaller guy and those pulling lineman would have had success against him too.

Yes, because saying it to the media so you can read it is what coaching is all about.
