Interesting thread on Ducks boards

Some of those guys view CU the way I view OSU, WSU, and Utah. I won't believe they are truly good until the evidence is so completely overwhelming it is simply impossible to not change your opinion.

I hope the Ducks players view it the same way.

FIFMe

The only Pac-12 schools that don't have a "show-me" asterix next to their name in my book is UW and USC. They'll get the benefit of my doubt when people say they're good. Everyone else has to prove it first.

The fact that Oregon and Stanford have been, in fact, showing me that they're legit for quite a few years now doesn't mean that I'm won't harbour doubts about them every year until they actually show again.
 
That is one boring site. They are about half and half. Some are over confident the rest worried. One extreme to the other.
 
A few years ago the Ducks visited, collectively demonstrating the personality of the little breadcrumbs that you would actually throw at domesticated ducks on a pond. They were very, very angry that I "fify'ed" a post, and charged me of exhibiting scandalous and unethical behavior. They then accused me of being a fraud (I am) and exasperated, left, as a flock, days before the game. It was weird.
 
My favorite duck is the Egyptian Goose.

Loved the despondent post of the fan lamenting they may now only be a West Coast Virginia Tech. Oh, division titles, a few conference titles, and a boatload of 8-10 win seasons. Oh, the humanity. Here's hoping their fall is a lot deeper than that.

VA Tech at least sits in a recruiting hotbed that gives them a naturally high floor. Oregon? Not so much.
