We all know that the most important event of the weekend is the return of Colorado to beating legitimate teams in the PAC12 but there are other games this weekend as well.

Number of battles between top 25 teams this week, mostly in the "We are ranked because we are in the SEC" schedule.

What should be a great game:
#11 Wisconsin travels to #8 Michigan State. Both teams are exceeding pre-season expectations. You'd think that after this many times people would figure out that Sparty is going to be good.

#1 Alabama takes the normal SEC OOC risk by hosting the mighty Golden Flashes of Kent State.

The rest of the SEC isn't quite as pathetic mainly because they are starting to play each other:
#12 Georgia goes to 1-2 but still ranked #23 Ole Miss (Ole Missing?)
#19 Florida tries to beat food cart and his #14 Tennessee Volunteers at their place.
The surprising #17 Arkansas Razorbacks go to #10 Texas A&M

In other games of note USC visits #24 Utah. Will Troy do another self destruct season? The last time they went to Utah they were in a swoon, will it happen again?

#7 Stanford goes to UCLA. UCLA has talent but Furd could put a beating on them anyways.

#9 Washington goes to the land of the sun to play Arizona. This could turn into a solid beatdown.

#20 ***braska goes to Northwestern. The kitties aren't a great team but the red isn't either. Time for them to lose.

Will #6 Houston hang 70 on an overmanned Texas State team.

Closer to home this could be a bad week for the MWC. Included in that is the Sheep on the road at Minnesota and Wyoming going to Eastern Michigan. Pride may be salvages with Boise State having a chance to beat P5 Oregon State.

AFA in league play goes to Utah State.

Northern Colorado looks to have a bye after getting drubbed by CSU last week.

Smaller schools.
Junction would have been happy to see his Colorado Mesa team 3-0 going to Adams State
Mines goes to Western
CSU-Pueblo hosts NM Highlands

At least Alabama plays one marquee OOC game each year. They don't do it on the road, it is usually a neutral site. When cobbled together with two FCS teams, it isn't impressive, but it is better than the great majority of their conference mates.

Oh, and I am going with the narrative CSU, UTSA, and ASU (and CU by proxy) are all better than we think, so CSU beats the spread at Minny this week.

Thinking Florida beats Tennessee. That DL is monstrous, and they'll be able to contain Dobbs. Unless food cart has been sandbagging intentionally to not show any cards, his team does not match up well.

Wish I could agree. CSU is a bad football team. UTSA isn't good, UNC is at best a middle FCS team, and CU killed them. Minny isn't a world beater but they have a lot more talent than CSU. Sheep may keep it close but don't see them winning on the road.

we really need to win this game. I can see all the teams in the south Pac12 losing usc, ucla, asu, az,

Please let me live in my fantasy until the facts line up in such a way, I can no longer hold on to it. Such as CSU losing by 30+ to the Gophers and ASU getting pounded by Cal this weekend.

Think Cal/ASU could be an early "play-in" game for bowl eligibility, although Cal obviously raised their stock with that Texas win. Perhaps I underestimated them.

When was the last time Tennessee beat Florida?

Nick Saban played at and started his coaching career at Kent State. This game isn't as random as it looks at first blush. I agree it isn't an especially strong OOC game, but USC at a neutral site was relatively risky (before the game actually started)

Clemson put on a clinic on defending the option. Penetration kills the option and the Clemson DL was in the backfield as much as the GT QB.

Was impressive to watch. Clemson offense is struggling, but that defense is going to be fun to watch all season.

utes vs condoms tonight

My call utes win because home field and usc is in disarray

They just said "Two Inch Penalty" in the smu tcu game. Sweet band name.

What's the difference between a southern Methodist and a Texas Christian?

Good question, Smu used to have Purina, damn midget horse. I have no ****ing clue about Tcu, is it like a horny toad or a frog with a rack on it? If you mean the religious implications, well one is Methodist, TCU Idk?

They played USC. You can never really tell how good a blue blood is going to be until the game, but that's a big name.

My biggest disagreement in scheduling is the second to last week of the regular season where they schedule a terrible OOC game before Auburn or SCar before Clemson or UF before FSU.

That's the bs I hate.

I vote for Utah:

A Utah win will help USC implode faster. We need them to be almost completely crushed by the time we play.

Utah still has time to wear down as the year goes on.

Additionally, it's fun to watch USC look lost
