Trying to find 6 wins before the season; hoping for a bowl game finally. Now I'm so damn selfish that I'm casting an evil eye toward U Dub (and the coach we missed from Boise) and worrying about how we are going to beat them in the CCG.

'TIs been an abrupt turnaround indeed. Now instead of a long week with no hope, I'm looking forward to this weekend to see if the Buffs D can stop USC (I think they can, although it will be tough) and if Sefo can bring the win he should of had last year home. Hoping we can win big enough to get Montez in in the second half (after all, not really a dropoff, right?) to drive the point home that the new P12S Overlords have taken up residence. Ready to make the Arizona teams hate being perennial footstools for the Buffs.

Ready to beat Stanford and stop the national dismissal for CU.

Just ready for my Buffs to be my Buffs. But didn't think that they would be as far as they are. So glad to be wrong.

Beat USC on the road, then we're talking.
Lots of hurdles to overcome. I had Oregon, USC, Stanford in the 'likely losses' columns and UCLA, Utah and ASU in the 'hard to win, but MAYBE if a few things go our way' column. Now I think we can win anything if we are on our A game, and most of them even playing our B game.

What a beautiful Colorado morning! For some reason, when I woke up this morning I had this earworm in my head (and I don't even like it that much):

Defintiely 60's material ... but some pretty nice hippie chicks in it.

Beast USC and there isn't another game on the schedule that isn't winnable. And yes, that includes Stanford and the CCG. Likely? No. Possible? A lot more than anybody would have imagined just four weeks ago.

I had forgotten what it was like to actually cheer for a legit team. This is fun, even if it only lasts a week. I'm hoping it lasts a lot longer than one week.

Don't worry about U Dub or the CCG. Just worry about next weekend. Then move on to the next game.

This team is legit this year and will be next year, especially on offense. We lose some key players on D due to graduation but betting on JMFL keeping them legit, but lose almost none on O...in fact with Wnfree and Hundley we will be better IMO. I would've said Sefo was a big loss, but that's no longer true. #TheRiseIsReal

If they beat USC on the road, especially big, is 10+ wins out of the question?
