USC Forum

It would be weird to think of SC in the opposite position - especially against us.

We're being talked about left and right. Here's a thread on UVA's horribly formatted
board

Note: rdm is a Texas cocksucker who plays the role of know it all.

[sigh] It shouldn't come as a surprise, disappointing as it may be, that CU's resurgence is going to come along with all these bad news headline narratives from other fan bases. Memories are long.

[sigh again] MacIntyre is is now the gold standard for turning around a P5 program. I expect fan bases from KU to UVA to OrSU to Rutgers are comparing MM with their coach and will be making a case that MacIntyre should leave Boulder for greener pastures. The haters will claim CU is a broke, dysfunctional cess pool. MacIntyre's agent is going to be busy.

Have to admit, I love the envy/jealousy. They've got a pompous, snotty element over there for a program with one 10 win season in their entire history.

I've watched a few Colorado games now and I don't see them keeping the score close after halftime. This will be a 14+ point USC win. Oregon win is not that impressive with how they're self-destructing. Oregon State is the worst pac12 team by far so that game is meaningless to me. Finally, Michigan played down to an opponent they thought would be a pushover. USC doesn't have the luxury of playing down to anybody and I think our weapons on offense will blow them out of the water. Their QB is going to be really surprised by the speed of our defense and he went 0/7 against Michigan (the only team with comparable speed to what he has seen so far)

I wonder if he really means the QB that was beating SC last year when he left the game with an injury

Delusional. Love it!

I don't know if it's delusional or not. We'll see on Saturday. However, I personally try not to be too public with my rationalizations, lest my lack of self-awareness is revealed.
Prob more a rationalization than delusional. I hope the team doesn't realize just how good we are.

CU - Passing Yards - 36th 309.6 ypg Rushing 53rd 219.6 Total YPG - 15th 529.2 YPG
USC - Passing Yards - 108th 245.8 ypg Rushing 162nd 145.8 ypg Total YPG 146th 391.6

We better win. I don't want to be no once ranked chump.

we're going to win by 14+ points. we are going to hold them under 17 points for most of the game but will give up a late meaningless score in garbage time.

we will score at least 34 and i expect a bit more than that.

we will move up to #17 in the rankings.

believe, friends. our Buffs can win this game. the bad guys have more athletes but they are dysfunctional and poorly coached. if we punch them in the face and come out as fast as we have so far this year, they will quit like dogs. they will start pointing fingers at each other and the coaches. the thing we will need to worry about as they melt down before our eyes is the cheap shot penalties that this version of the trojans has become notorious for.

i really think the whole key to this game is getting these guys to give up. they want to give up. let's help them.

By a few games, he means the 4th quarter of the Michigan game. This is exactly the thought we need from the whole USC team and coaches.

USC looked like the best team in the PAC begind washington on Saturday. Darnold looked great and seems to be getting better, and the defense came to play for the first time this year. I'm a little worried

Its amazing what happens to a teams confidence when they play a defense like ASU. While I do have worries about this game...I think if we show up and do what we do, we will win this game. This team is just something else right now.

As long as they don't have the most dominant sweep play in the history of college football like Michigan then we have the defense to slow them down.

Also, it'd help if our punt team doesn't give them 21 points.

Which section is good to be in for this game? About to purchase tickets, never been to the coliseum. Would prefer to be among buff fans, i live among sc fans and can't stand them.
