apparently deciding that they can never compete with ohio state and michigan, the fuskers are apparently begging the b12 to let them come home.

the new b12 would allegedly add the fuskers, byu, houston, and cincinnati, and it looks like ou might be looking at other options.

this is delicious!

fuskers admit defeat and want to crawl back into the comfortable b12n except without CU. ahahahahaha!

and, if the expansion list is accurate, the sheep didn't get invited to the dance. ahahahaha!

glorious, glorious... double-juicy dose of **** YOU. i love it.

They got as lucky as you could possibly get with division alignment there. They may never be able to win the B1G title, but they should be able to compete for the sacrificial spot just about every year. Lol at wanting out, definitely shook AF.

Honestly... It makes sense for them. While CU has experienced never befor seen basketball success, has grown their recruiting footprint in Cali without losing Texas and appear to be on the upswing, Nebraska hasnt really inproved their standing in anything. They're just sort of stuck. I would actually like to see that new Big 12.

Larry Scott better be on the phone with Oklahoma. Looks like they're willing to lose 2 and gain 4 (if the deal includes Nebraska).

Who else would we want? Kansas?

Houston. Or Kansas. How about OU, KU, Houston and New Mexico? Three good additions for Basketball, two for football.

Pac-16?

Pod scheduling with the 2 highest ranked teams playing in the championship game?

Northwest - UO, OSU, UW, WSU
Cali - USC, UCLA, Cal, Stanford
Desert - UA, ASU, UNLV, Utah
Southwest - CU, UNM, OU, (KU or TTU or UH or OSU)

Annual schedule is 3 games against own pod, 2 against each of the other pods.

Would this work for CU fans?

if the p12 wants the texas footprint without texasssss, then pull houston and oklahoma as the travel partners. that only gets us to 14, but we leave our options open on the last 2.

Makes the most sense. iirc, it was KU and UH that Scott visited last time around as potential backup plans.

OU brings the Dallas market and UH brings the Houston market. What else do you really need?

Yes! KU would be huge for hoops and even as the automatic "W" for a few years in FB.

I don't quite understand why posters here think that potential moves by other schools or conferences requires expansion by the Pac 12. I love our conference just how it is now ... am I missing something?
Yeah. There is going to be four 16 team conferences. At least that is what everyone believes. So the pressure is on the major conferences to get the best mix they can.

$$$. The arms race is here to stay

That current division of theirs is a dream in terms of piling up 9 win seasons. They just aren't a fit though and getting away from Texas recruiting grounds has to hurt. Plus, some sort of new Big XII North could be favorable to them as well.

lol. Morons in the comment section of that article think that CU wants back in the Big 12. :ROFLMAO:

i am not embarrassed to be in the pac 12. there are lots of fine schools and few academic wastelands. i was often embarrassed to be a part of the b12. and if ****ing bailer doesn't take that embarrassment to a whole 'nuther dimension for the schools now in the b12, then they are seriously flawed.

the fact that the fuskers want to get closer to ****ing bailer and kjuco state and the other academic dregs of the b12 tells you everything you need to know: as always, they put on a sanctimonious face and talk about academics and morality and then their coach hides the gun.

I'm not sure that article was any more reliable regarding nebraska than the remarks were about us.
