CU at Stanford 10/22

Meanwhile Oregon gets another national broadcast against Cal after giving up 70 points last week.

Apparently the Rise will not be televised, at least not outside of (most of) the West Coast.

Damn. A (sadly) used to be ranked team in 1st in the south vs (possibly) the 1st-2nd best team in the conference can't get ANY love? Oh well. As always we will MAKE them take notice. Stupid USC.

Agreed.
I think we have what it takes to beat STanford this year...another opportunity for a statement game.

When the time comes that Nat'l network shows our game, and is doing prep interviews a day or two before, MikeMac could continually address the interviewer by the names of the typical Pac12Net interview personnel. "Well Yogi Roth, thats a good question, oh, sorry, not used being interviewed by you (_________)."

I'd rather beat Stanford on the Pac12 network than lose on ESPN. If them sucking means we play on the P12Net I'll take it.

$25 on Sling TV would make it easier for anyone to watch the P12N. Don't see what the fuss is about.
Most people here have Pac-12 net or a way to watch Pac-12 net. It is the people nation wide that won't get to see our games because its on Pac-12 Net and not on DirecTV. ESPN and FS1 are true national broadcasts. They help with exposure.

Hello everyone. I am a new user who has followed this message board for the past two years, because I appreciated the job Mike MacIntyre did at San Jose State and have continued to follow Mac at CU. I am very happy to see that Mac has turned things around in Boulder.

I live near Stanford and am thinking about buying a ticket to the CU @ Stanford game. Question: Which sections will the CU fans be sitting at? My preference is to get a seat near mostly CU fans and the cheapest ($50) possible ticket, possibly at the corners/end zones.

I'd check with the CU AD ticket office.

Knowing Stanford, you shouldn't have any problem finding tickets. The people around you won't really be watching the game anyway.

Thanks for the advice. I ended up going to the CU - NorCal Buff Alumni group on Facebook and found a link that contained the promo code "NORCALBUFFS". Entering that promo code in the Stanford site, however, brought me to the second level section 227, when sections 121 & 122 have $50 seats with a closer view of the field. These are seats opposite of the "Red Zone" (I'm assuming that's the Stanford student section), so I hope there will be plenty of CU fans in those seats.
