Holy crap! I forgot the stadium actually looked like that. Ah, to go back to my freshman year!!!!

The Buff they made looks kind of funny. Is that an extra leg there in the middle?

seems just as i remember it in the '80's. hell, i dont think CU even had 50K for the games against texas and illinois(sp?) in '89.

i remember quiet a few games growing up in the early 80's with what seemed like about 35k in folsom. that place was friggin empty. i was about 10 at the time and me and my friends could roam that place at free will and sit almost where ever we wanted.

hell, we would wander down to boulder creek, come back up to folsom. roam around the field house, go back to the creek, come back up, get some popcorn....ect.....

the first game that i do remember sitting still at was a game against wyoming. friggin downpour. CU got thier asses beat. its the only game i can ever remember my parents leaving before the final gun.

I was probably one of the 35K in the stands that day. i think a student ticket back then was like $30-$35 for the year. That included basketball too. I still remember getting stone drunk for the Stanford game and being drug to someones dorm room at half time.

They looked drunk to me. Probably considering the town and the night that came before that demonstration. Thank god for the internet.
