'19 CA OLB Spencer Lytle (Signed to Wisconsin)

He really blew up... Are we going to get an official visit?

Even if we do, it's hard to get a read on what it means. There's a chance we could be out of it but it allows CU to pay for him and the family to visit Tyler on a game weekend. (CU might do that to take a shot, even if it's a long shot.) Really hard to read things when it's a younger brother of a current player being recruited. My impression is that they almost always decide to chart their own path.

Agreed. Siblings rarely go to the same school. They usually want to branch out, and get out of their older brother's shadow.

Just important to get a visit here to see if the staff can turn some success this season into a late flip. If he doesn’t it’s no big deal, he is one of the top linebackers in the country so getting him on campus helps either way.

Sounds like the staff did/is doing everything they can to convince Lytle to come to CU. Doesn't look good at the moment, but you never know. Hopefully they stay in contact throughout the season.

Maybe people just had very different expectations but I thought the reports out of the visit were pretty positive. Just needed to plant some seeds and see what happens this fall.

Well, good news is if his opp at Clemson goes side ways, we'd be a great location to transfer to.

FWIW, 247 Crystal Ball has him at 57% Wisconsin, 29% Cloudy and 14% Clemson
