Ralphie V - Retired - Thanks, Blackout!

Per John Graves "As one of the biggest and fastest Ralphies, her love for running and power was showcased every home game during her career. It's almost like she knew she was the queen of campus and she loved to show that fact off when she ran onto the field and at her public appearances."

No doubt, she is the queen of the campus.

Run free noble buffalo and thanks for your years of service and the thrills!!

Thanks Girl. Many times you were the best part of the football game day and you sure as hell are the best mascot in all of college sports! Blackout, enjoy your remaining days know you served a special purpose as Ralphie!

Seems like we should have the next Ralphie already on the farm? Where is the Buffalo Depth Duff??? Got have better balance at that position. A new Buffalo takes time to train, so who knows how next year goes?
Thank you Blackout, glad I saw you run against the Huskers! You deserved that win.

Interview of one of the handlers said scouting for a new Ralphie has been ongoing for a while.

Guess they thought she would make it thru the season. Would love to have it announced before her last run. She has been a fantastic mascot for sure.

And **** the animal rights dipshits that have zero idea what they are talking about. I have known some handlers over the years and according to them, Ralphie lives an awesome life!

CU posted her retirement on Instagram and of course every animal rights dip**** is calling out CU for being so cruel for having a live mascot. I'm a pretty liberal guy, but these worthless mother****ers make me physically ill.

Really? That's so odd. How can anyone complain of the way Ralphie is treated. Is PETA also against having dogs and cats as pets. Real question.

No, but they definitely want people to be super nice to their pets (typing as my dog is resting in my lap).

I was wrong, this buffalo is crazy.

Colorado's buffalo mascot, Ralphie V, must retire due to speed

Hope she finds a field big enough to hold her. Out to pasture, sweetheart.

Hmm. I think it was the Nebraska game where she was so fast one of the handlers went down and got dragged a bit. Looked painful.

I'd figure you get "old", you don't want to run, blow me... gate opens... nope.

But she is the complete opposite! Hah!

But what a great time for a new Ralphie.

Edit: great picture.

Those assholes just take a story like this for what is on the surface. Ralphie lives a better life than animal(s) those schmucks care for do. Ralphie probably lives better than those schmucks, themselves, do.

I raised that very question with one and was told that’s a completely different situation!
