Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

A 4m OC would give plenty of SEC and B1G teams pause.
Yeah, and then they'd get used to it.

Just like they got used to Saban's contract - when it was first announced, it gave a lot of AD's pause. Then they got used to it.

I'm going to start cheering for whoever is ranked #1, winning the game, or has the highest ranked recruiting class. It's easier than this emotional roller coaster/dumpster fire.

Folks, I do not give two ****s about your opinion on how this will work out, but if I were CU, just like many other schools who were put in this spot, you have to promote DC right now so that you can hold onto your players, and my point about efficiency is that you HAD something going pretty good with MT in terms of culture, infrastructure, process, S&C, and other things. If you go hire TC or any other coach, you have to rebuild all of that again! I was a High School and College Soccer Coach and had a lot of success due to process and procedures. I have spoken about the 3 year plan of success that I used multiple times to win State Championships and Conference Championships. We were heading down a good path, do not just jump off that path to hire an outsider. If RG and LC are good people, then turn your attention inward and build an organization that thrives within, and not one that requires an outside person to get paid $4 million to go down their path, and if things sour then they leave in the middle of the night, or they show you a picture of a ****ing buffalo walking against the snow.

DC is our coach right now and should be given the chance to keep this organization moving in the right direction.
If DC held onto the kap and Johnson this would make more sense. I fear DC is going to hire an Embree 2.0 staff and want to call plays.

call me crazy but I think the service academy coach will be better at continuing the message of hard work, loyalty etc.

Efficiency is the new accretive, amirite?

Gotta figure RG and LC are having a bad day right now.

I honestly don’t have an opinion on which way we need to go at this point. Is Wilcox still an option? Was he ever an option? Can we pull an MSU and go after him now that our first choice left us holding our dicks?

Are we starting the process all over from scratch now? Mora, Leavitt and Chivarini are all guys we could probably offer with a reasonable expectation that they’d accept it. Do we have to at least consider Jim Leavitt at this point?

I'd be fine with this. He wants this job from what I've seen, hates the MWC (mused about AFA going independent), and is a straight shooter who can get us to bowls regularly.
What happened with the last two mid-major coaches we hired that were successful in the MWC/WAC? You really want to go to that well again?

Don't forget Bielema!

That self-righteous SOB will be good for two years before he uses us to jump back into big boy football.
